Chapter 6-Girlfriends Part 2

The next morning

Marianne’s POV

I was getting dressed when my phone vibrated. I had a text from Brian ‘hi Marianne I was wondering if you wanted to hang out later’. Well I haven’t been out with Brian I a while so I text back ‘ye sure’. After texting Brian It was time for me to leave my home so I locked my door and got into my car. When I arrived at school I went straight to my locker. While I was getting the books that I would need for my classes someone tapped my shoulder which made me jump. I turned around and their stood Brian smirking. “Brian what the hell you scared the crap out of me” he chuckled and said “sorry” “it’s ok Brian, what class do you have” “umm I have music then English what about you” “I just have English today but for two hours” “ok well if you want I could walk you to your class since I have to go past it” “ok”. Brian walked me to my English class where Mr Downey was waiting. He smiled at me but when he looked at Brian his smile instantly dropped. I turned to Brian and said “I will see you later Brian” “see you later Marianne” then he did the unexpected and kissed my cheek, then he walked off. I slowly walked in to Mr Downey’s class, sat down and put my head on the desk. A couple of minutes later Kiera tapped my shoulder. I lifted my head off the desk and said “morning” “morning, so where were you this morning” “Brian text me and saw me at my locker and said he would walk me to my class” “ok”. While Mr Downey was talking about what we would be doing in today’s lesson my phone vibrated, I had a text from Scott saying ‘guess what my teacher said if anyone gets in to trouble they get moved in to Mr Downey’s class, aren’t you in that class’. I didn’t reply I just stared at the text. Kiera saw I was staring at my phone. “Hey what’s up” she asked concerned. I just looked at her then gave her my phone so she could read the text, once she read it she mumbled something but I couldn’t hear what she said by the classroom door opening and Scott walked in. He looked at me and smirked. I glared at him.

Through the lesson Scott would not stop staring at me; Kiera saw how frustrated I looked and said “Scott take a picture it lasts longer” that made me smile but it soon disappeared with his reply. “Fuck off I wasn’t even looking at you, I was looking at that pathetic emo fag” now I was pissed, “I am not pathetic of a fag” “so you say you are an emo” “yes I am an emo get the fuck over it” I raised my voice. Mr Downey just stood by his desk speechless. Then I just had to hear his voice again. “Go and cut yourself or better still go and kill yourself you little emo bitch” that was it my eyes started to change colour and my fist clenched ready to hit him but I was stopped by Kiera holding me down and saying “calm down he’s not worth it”. I looked at her and said “I don’t care, I am not letting some dick head speak to me like that” “I know but you have to trust me Marianne, you need to calm down before you do something you will regret” “ok” was all I said. After that I nodded my head, unclenched my fists and my eyes started to go back to normal, then I remembered how I calm down. I cry. Then just as I tried to calm down Scott said “aww is the little emo going to go and cry to her dead daddy” I looked at him and he smirked. Then my eyes changed colour again and I looked straight at him, but this time I looked in to his eyes and they showed fear which made my smirk because I knew I had an advantage so I slowly started to make my way over to him when I was stopped again by Kiera holding me back then she dragged me out of the classroom door. Then she said “Marianne you need to calm the fuck down”. I saw how worried she looked then I noticed that I was shaking. I really need to calm down. Just then Mr Downey came out the door. “Marianne are you ok” he looked worried and concerned. Surprisingly Kiera answered for me “she will be in a minute she just needs to calm down” “ok Kiera can you go back in to the classroom please”. Kiera looked at me and I nodded “ok” was all she said before smiling at me and going back in to the room. “Marianne are you sure you’re ok” I shook my head ‘no’. Then he pulled me into him so he could hug me. I didn’t try to fight so I hugged back.

Robert’s POV

I was shocked at what was just said I can’t believe he just call her a pathetic emo fag. Oh my god did he just tell her to go and kill herself. I looked at Marianne to see he reaction, holy shit her eyes just changed colour and she looked like she was going to kill him. She was about to walk over to him when Kiera stood up and held her back and told her to calm down because he isn’t worth it. the next thing I heard was Marianne say ok and her eyes started to go back to their normal colour but Scott had to ruin that and said ‘aww is the little emo going to go and cry to her dead daddy’. Then her eyes changed again. I looked at Scott and he smirked but it soon faded as he looked into her eyes. The next thing I know Marianne is pulled out of the room by Kiera. I think I better say something now, well better late than never right. “ok class settle down and Scott shut up, did you get a detention with your teacher” “no I don’t” “well you have a week of after school detentions starting from Monday” he just glared at me and said “whatever” do kids have any respect for teachers anymore. I gave out books to the class and told them to read the first two chapters and then talk to their partner about the characters and the themes. We only had about 15 minutes left of the lesson anyway. After I told the class what I wanted them to do I went straight out the door to find Marianne shaking and Kiera telling her to calm down. I asked her if she was ok but Kiera answered “she will be in a minute she just needs to calm down” so I asked her to go back in to the classroom, she looked at Marianne to see if she should do as she was told and Marianne nodded. Once Kiera went back in to the class room I asked her again if she was ok but she shook her head ‘no’. Then without thinking I pulled her to me and I hugged her. She didn’t try to stop me and hugged me back. I didn’t want this to end. We were stood like this for a couple of minutes before she let me go. She smiled at me. Damn it I want her to be mine.
