Percy Jackson

It's been months since the war between us, Demigods, and Gaia. Being a leader is kinda hard to handle because you need to make sure everything that you've planned is gonna work and you have to take responsibility with your team. Me and my friends successfully defeated Gaia last time in the war, some Demigods died when that happened. I was thinking a lot of things lately about having a new quest.

My riptide is held by my hands, waiting for someone to call us and tell tus that we have a training. Ever since I arrived here in Camp Half Blood, all I've been doing is training, preparing myself for the upcoming battles. I'm gonna admit that there are times that I'm serious with everything. Missing my mom in every day of my life, while my father, Poseidon, is busy at Mt. Olympus.

"Percy! Thalia want you to meet someone." I heard someone exclaimed. Turning around and saw Margaux Chan, Daughter of Athena, and half-sister of Annabeth. She's really nice and friendly when I met her. She is of Korean descent. Whenever me and Annabeth will have an argument, she'll be like the peacemaker. We call her Margaux in short. I treated her like my little sister. "Now get up, seaweed brain."

"Can you guys stop calling me seaweed brain?" I groaned at the stupid nickname that Annabeth gave me. she told me that I'm smart and that I act dumb sometimes. At first I laughed at it, but when she continued to call me seaweed brain everytime I'm not in the mood, it makes me want to explode at everytime.

"Can you go any faster?" She faced palmed, going to my direction and dragged me away from the beautiful sea. Everytime I'm near by the sea, it makes me more relaxed and stronger, like giving me pure energy. Don't get me wrong but there times that I can hear the voice of my father whenever I'm near the water.

"Who does she want me to meet?" I asked her. She didn't reply, not until we arrived at the battlefield. She pointed at the direction of Thalia with a blonde girl holding a dagger. Her long blonde wavy hair shines when the light hits her spot. She has fair skin and  silvery grey eyes like there is determination in it. She smiled at Thalia and positioned herself in fighting stance, then the two started battling with each other. Jason is standing near by the bench watching the two girls fight with the use of daggers. I'm quite impressed on how the girl battle with Thalia.

"Do you know her?" I asked Margaux again. She shrugged her shoulders in response.

"That's Jason and Thalia's half sister. Hailey Lightwood is her name. When she was a baby, we saw her near by the tree. There was a necklace hanging around her neck, it's shaped like a thunderbolt and an eagle. We kept her in the camp then raised her like a good natured girl. Then there's this one night, Zeus appeared in the camp and told me that Hailey is his daughter. She inherited the traits from her father and some from her mother. I assumed that her mother is the one who left her near the tree." I heard Chiron said as he appeared behind us. "She left last year because there is a family that wanted to adopt her and gave her the surname of Lightwood."

"It's like she's been here for many years and more trained than us." Margaux said, curiously.

"Yes, she is." Chiron replied at Margaux.

I nodded at the two of them and return my attention back to Hailey. Seeing that she has what it takes be a good fighter. I can see that a lot of boys are staring at her. When the two girls are finished, me and Margaux walked towards to their direction.

"Hey guys!" Margaux greeted at the two siblings, which cause them to turn around.

"Hi Thalia." I said, walking towards them. "Is she the one you wanted me to meet?"
