Pilot
It had been twelve years since I last seen this boy. Before now, when I'd known him, he would've been the shy, awkward being hiding himself away in the corner of a crowded room. But in this moment, he seemed to be the center of attention. All eyes were on him, and all chatter was continuous. There was no trace of the Daniel Howell I once knew.
"His hair is shorter." Phil commented beside me. "He definitely looks more to be enjoying himself. Have you gone to say hello?"
I gave my brother a silent shake of my head, taking a coffee off of the tray he'd brought over.
"Well, you should. He was all you ever talked about for the first two years we left. If not to be acquainted, again, then go get some closure or something." Phil gave a my arm a small nudge before standing and pulling me up beside him.
Before I could stop him we were in front of the group, and Phil was holding me by the shoulders, keeping my body in place. "Hey, Dan. Dan Howell, right?"
