Pokemon: Shahos Adventure!

Day One: The Big Day

Hmmm, my mom bought me this journal for me to keep my journey on paper... Maybe I'll use it. "Shaho!" My mom called me to go down stairs. "Are you ready? Do you have clothes? Tooth brush? Snacks? Do you need mon-", I interrupted, "Mom I'm fine you don't have to worry, I'm literally going two houses down to the lab. I don't even know entirely that I'm getting my first Pokemon." In my head I was screaming from joy as I just new that was what I was getting, a Pokemon, a pal, a friend to share my journey with. I was so excited. "You're right... But are you sure you have everything?" Mom said. "Yes Mom, love you bye!" "I love you t-" I had already shut the door in the rush I was in. I sprinted to the lab only to fall flat on my face. "Are you ok?" A blurry figure in the distance said. "Yeah yeah I'm fine." "That's great Shaho! Come on!" It was Dream, my best friend. "Oh hey Dream, didn't recognize you at first." He was already running torwards the lab. "Professor Acasia! We're here!" He shouted. I hit him and told him to be less rowdy. We walked up to the Professor. "Hi boys. Welcome, I suppose it's time you boys are rea-" Wind busted through the door yelling "WAIT! WAIT! I'm here!" "Hello Mr. Wind, I'm glad you could make it as well. Now then, where was I? Ah yes! Now then I suppose you boys are ready to start your very own journey. I have three Pokemon, one for each of you. I'll let you three choose between yourselves." Wind very excitedly yelled, "I'll take Squirtle!" Dream wanted Bulbasaur so I chose Charmander. I held him high, almost touched the flame of his tail. "Now with these Pokemon come great responsibility!" The Professor started talking. "Each of them can be dangerous so take special care of each one. Love the Pokemon like your mom loves you. Train it well. Now now, go get some rest boys! You'll need it for the journey ahead of you. Now now, go!" We started for the door, "Wait! I almost forgot one of the most important things for your Pokemon journey! This here is what I call a Pokedex! It tracks all the Pokemon you've seen, and contains the stats of all the Pokemon you've caught!" He hands us each one. "Now you boys can go." Wind sprinted home, Dream and I walked home together. It was dark now, "You know, I never thought this moment would actually happen." Dream started talking, " I mean, gaining a Pokemon, it's incredible. Not everyone gets this chance you know?" "I know... It really is crazy to think about. Hey! I'll see you tomorrow ok?" "Alright! I'll see you tomorrow Shaho!" I walked in my home. "Mom! Mom Mom Mom Mom!!! I got my own Pokemon!!! I'm going to be a Pokemon master!" Mom looked sad. "Wha- What's wrong Mom?" "I'm just worried about you, after what happened to your Dad..." I almost cried. "I'll be fine..." I walked upstairs and got in my bed. I thought to myself, I'll find Dad, I have to. Nows time for sleep though, I turned and went to sleep.
