"Genesis! Why are you not inside?" A tall, and powerful woman scolded her young daughter as she entered the great gardens of the palace.
"Mother, I told you, I do not want to be wed with someone I do not know of or love." Genesis replied back certainty filled her voice. Genesis rarely talked back to her mother. And when she did, great were the consequences.
To her surprised, her mother sighed and sat next to her on a beautifully made wooden bench. " I know it is hard. But you are strong enough to do it. I know so. You are a very smart and beautiful woman. Any man would be lucky to have your hand in marriage." She said, looking at her daughter in admiration.
"That is just the thing mother, I can not be with any man I want. He has already been chosen by my father. It is only a matter of time before he arrives." Genesis said, looking among the roses, lost in thought on her future.
Her mother understood exactly. For she, as well had an arranged marriage. "Genesis, did I ever tell you about the story of a young girl who's love for a man was so great that she gave up her own life for his?"
Genesis sat up straight and turned to her mother. Giving her, all of her attention. Her mother smiled as she noticed Genesis had an interest in the old story.
"It is a very good story indeed. Do you want to hear it?" She asked. Her daughter just nodded frantically for her to continue. "Alright, it all started long ago, in a kingdom just like ours. There lived a king. He was all alone in the world except for his one daughter. He made sure she had everything she ever needed. When his daughter grew to the age where she had to get married, much like you, she had an arranged marriage. She was to marry prince Harry. But his daughter rosy was a very stubborn young lady. She denied all plans for a marriage and ran away with her true love. A common boy from the village."
"She was so brave to do that!" Genesis commented in great admiration.
"Oh she was, little did she know she was in great danger." She said as she continued telling the story. "Her love for him was so great, that she made an agreement with a witch that would change her fate forever...."

"Rosy, please! you must slow down!" Nick ran after his beloved princess. Struggling to catch up with her energetic state.
"Oh come on! Don't be such a bore! We are almost there!" She replied in her playful tone. Laughing, she turned around and grabbed him by the arm, pulling him deeper and deeper into the woods.
He had no idea where they were going, but he did not care. As long as Rosy was with him, he could care less where they were headed to.
He knew their days together were numbered. As Rosy's father, the king, never approved Nick to be with his daughter. A disapproval from a father meant the boy could not be near his daughter. Is so, consequences were in order. The king's desire was for his only daughter to marry the prince from the land across the pond. The marriage was soon to come. Being arranged since birth. But to Rosy's dismay, Nick was nothing more than a common boy from a noble family. Them together just could not be possible. Of course that never stopped them from their undying love for one another.
Rosy lifted up her gown as she sprinted faster into the woods leaving behind a very tired Nick. The more into the forest they went, the more darker it appeared to be. Nick got on her trail as she made an abrupt stop. Nick observed his surroundings as he tried to catch his breath. The sun had set not to long ago and the only light came from the full moon overhead.
"Rose? What are we doing here?", He asked trying to hide his uncertainty. "Rosy?", He called to her once again, no longer hiding the fact that he was scared.
"There's a way we can be together...forever." She answered back without turning around. Her face emotionless. A drastic change from moments earlier. Rosy's eyes were concentrating on a large oak wood tree in front of her, as if expecting it to move.
"Rose, trust me. I searched for a way to make this possible. But there is no way we can be together without your father taking my head." He sighed, running a hand the through his blond hair.
"Oh, but there is a way, Nick." She said. Turning around, she looked up at her one true love. "There is one way." She spoke softly and dearly.
In one swift movement, she held up a dagger and dashed it through his heart.
His eyes widened in shock. He stare at her in horror, she had a small smile on her pink lips. No sign of regret in her crystal blue eyes.
He dropped to his knees, never loosing eye contact. His vision started to blur as he started falling forward.
"I love you." Were the lat words he heard as darkness swallowed him whole.
"Ok, step one is done. You know what to do now. Don't you?" A young looking lady came from behind the large oak tree. Rosy turned around and smiled.
"Yes." she took a deep breath. "I'm ready" she took the dagger from Nick's heart and held it pointing towards her chest. "For Nick. For us. Together. Forever." She smiled before stabbing herself. Falling to the floor, she closed her eyes, welcoming what was to follow. Her rosy cheeks losing color by the second. Turning pale.
The lady pulled the dagger out and held it in her hand. "Posimpatus seralieo huntosetri" she chanted. Soon the dagger began to create a small flame. gradually getting bigger. Until the whole dagger, with both their blood, was nothing more than ashes. She placed the ashes in a jar and started walking away from the young could who were undeniably, and madly in love.'''''''''''''''''''''''
