Abby's POV
I sat there on this serene, picturesque beach, feeling the warm water on my feet, and the cool coconut drink soothing me as the sun went down.
Hawaii!
It truly is paradise on Earth!
A pair of hands encircled my waist from the back as the figure Sat down behind me.
Julian!
He still looks as sexy as he did the first time I saw him.
Can't believe that he's mine.
Stroking the big ring on my left hand, he leaned in and whispered, "So, Mrs.Coleman, ready to call it a day?"
His closeness and the warmth of his breath against my ear sent shivers through my body.
Closing my eyes, I leaned into him, enjoying the happiest and the most satisfied sensation I've ever felt!
"Hmmm. Just a little longer. Until the Sun goes down!"
The beautiful Sun is becoming one with the ocean!
"WAKE UP! WAKE UP!"
"Hmmm. Just a little longer.", I rested me head on the hands trying to wake me up.
"Um. Awkward! Okay! Would you wake up now, please? You've got the most important meeting of your life in less than 15 minutes!"
Splash!
"Ahh!", I woke up startled at the big splurge of water that hit my face!
"What the hell, Sky!"
"You're gonna be late for your meeting!", my new co worker, Skylar, grumbled.
"Who the hell let you into my office?"
"You should be thanking me! I might have just saved your arrogant ass from being unemployed! Now get your ass into that meeting! You sleep deprived menace!", he walked out, clearly annoyed.
Sleep deprived!?
"How dare you talk to me like that!? You have no.."
He walked out even before I finished the sentence.
How dare he?!!!
He was also right. I am sleep deprived! Well, there's only So much sleep a working young woman can afford, to be successful. Ugh! And that stupid dream, again. Unbelievable!
I stood up and fixed my hair and makeup and put on a coat and a scarf to hide the water marks that resulted from Sky's douchery! I grabbed my files and made my way into the meeting room, strutting in my high heels.
Julian's POV
Corner office, top floor in a 30 storey building, glass walls over looking the city, skyline almost kissing the beautiful cityscape, perfect view!
It's everything that I've ever wanted.
Now!?
The inside was not too shabby either. Decorated in subtle dark colours and leather, it oozed power. Somehow, it felt like I belonged there.
But, do I have everything I'll ever NEED!?
When Mr.Macabee offered that I run our European branch, I jumped at it. I needed this.
I get to be the all powerful, money's good, lifestyle is best. Everything is quintessentially awesome.
But,.
Of course now, I have a hole in the place where I used to have a heart.
But, that's it. But hey, that's life.
"Mr.Coleman, your 2:30 is here.", my quirky new assistant informed.
