It hurt so much...
Like I was trying to live without a heart...

Worried whispers were all around me.

"She just blacked out"

"I don't know why this would happen"

"Wait. Where's her pulse"
So I'm dead....?

"Sh*t it's not there"
....why am I still here?

"Check her soul"
Someone new? ....Underswap papyrus. It has to be. The other one must be Ink.

"Oh...my god...."
What? What is it! I can't see it.
I groaned
"S-she's alive? How?"
Same as everyone else. I'm not sure why this happened.
"Ugh my head" I complained. "Rose oh my god...what happened?" Ink asked. It hit me then. The grief, realization of what had happened. "Lily....Iris....Sage....Lavender.......everyone.....it's gone Ink.....Gone forever....I'm all that's left....so alone....."

-A few weeks later-

It had been a few weeks...I hadn't left my house since...My doors were locked, curtains closed.
Everyday...someone came by...and tried to get me to come out....

All I had been thinking about was what had happened when I was still in my timeline....I should've stayed with Lily...I could've saved her....I should have died back there.....

Wait.......

What happened to......?

Something clicked in my head. Something Error had said....Yes Lotus had gotten our alive like I had. But where was she now?

I opened my door to see Ink sitting outside. "I-ink...?" My voice quiet from disuse.
He looked up. "Rose!" He got up, "are...are you okay?"
I stayed in my doorway, the door mostly closed. "No......but....w-what happened to Lotus..?"
Ink looked confused for a second. "She's in a different timeline...I guess I could show you if you want"
I nodded "I'd like that....she's all I have left after all"
"Right I...I almost forgot..." He nodded grimly.
I opened my door enough to step out. Ink hugged me tight and I hug back. "Please...take me to her...I need to see her...."
He opened a portal...
Just before I stepped through he grabbed my wrist, pulling the sleeve of my jacket up to reveal the underside of my pale wrist. It was covered with cuts.
"Stop doing this....it wasn't your fault."
I flinched away from him, yanking my wrist away.
"Good bye Ink..."
I fell backwards into the portal.

When I came out of the portal I swore as I fell through the trees before Snowdin. As I hit the ground I heard someone run over to me "hey are you okay!??" I looked up into a familiar face.

It was Lotus.

"Rose?" I smiled and tackle-hugged her "You're Okay!" Tears flooding down my cheeks. "Lotus? You okay? You ran off pretty fast" a new voice called from the trees "Over here Dev!!" Lotus called. I watched as another skeleton came out of the trees. He was shorter than me, but about lotus's height. He wore a purple jacket and denim shorts, his eyes were purple as well. I smiled at Dev "you two seem to know each other" I smile "yes, we know each other alright" I offer a hand to him and he takes it "I'm Rose by the way." I introduced "Names Dev" he replied, letting go of my hand. I smiled, it's just a guess but...never mind. "Nice to meet you" he smiled "same"

We stood there in an awkward silence until Lotus broke it "I'm going to bring her to meet the others, wanna come?"
