I was out of breath after running up the cliff before sunrise.
That and the fact that I had been training for a couple of hours.

As I was breathing hard, sweating even more, I tried once again.

Spinning around, kicking and punching as the water was helping me.
I fell on my butt, and a groan escaped my lips as I got up in a quick movement.
I got back to my routine, making ice this time.

As I succeed on the movements, I jumped into the air in happiness as I always did.
I couldn't wait for team avatar to see my new skills.
Wait... team avatar... everyone... the ship was- I turned around the second I remembered the thing my mother had told me the night before.

The second I saw them standing there, their eyes wide and there mouths dropped, I couldn't believe my eyes either.
''Korra... Mako... Asami, Bolin?!'' I ran towards them happy as ever.
I couldn't believe it, they were actually there.

''Naomi?! What just happened?'' Bolin yelled as he wrapped me in a hug.
I hugged all of them quickly  before looking at them carefully.
''You all look so grown up already.'' I said surprised.
''Like you should be saying that.'' Asami said touching my long hair.

I was smiling like crazy.
''How was your trip? What did i miss the last 6 months? And how did you guys find me?''
They all laughed at my excitement.
''It was nice, thanks for asking.'' Mako started.
''Nothing besides the thing we wrote in the letters.'' Asami answered.
''And your mom told us about your hiding place.'' Korra said smiling.

Even though I was embarrassed of them seeing me like that, I couldn't be more happy to see them.
''I've missed you guys so much.''

We started walking back.
Catching up with them was nice, and I almost felt like we were never apart.
''So how is it like being a bender?'' Korra asked me wrapping an arm around me.

I smiled ''How is being in a relationship that is the talk of Republic city?'' I asked looking at Korra and giving Mako a little look.
They both blushed and I laughed.

I didn't lie when I said I missed them.
And i knew it would be one of the most memorable spirit festivals ever.

''Naomi!'' three happy airbending kids yelled, tackling to me ground just like the time I arrived in Republic city.
I laughed as I hit the ground hard, hugging all of them.
''I've missed you too guys.''

We all got up, and I my eyes landed on Bumi and Tenzin.
I ran into their arms, and got trapped in a hug.
''Hey kid, how have you been?'' Bumi asked.
''Great, even though I miss Republic city.''

I heard a mad cough I knew all too well.
I slowly turned around, and found my mothers angry expression glaring down at me.
''I thought I told you to be here first thing in the morning. And what do I walk into? An empty bedroom yet again, and after weeks of talking about seeing all of your friends and that: 'oh so sweet earthbender boy.'' She said imitating me.

Everybody started laughing, and yet again I was left embarrassed.
''Mom...'' I looked down, even more embarrassed.
''Come on Kya, give the kid a break. She's 18 already.'' Bumi said saving me, walking away with her under his arm, and Tenzin following.
I looked at the poor Pema, who had to take care of all of the airbending kids.

''I can see why you missed us.'' Korra said with an eyebrow raised.
I sighed.
''So Naomi, do you mind helping me with my luggage?'' Asami asked with a nice smile.
''Not at all .'' I said, giving her a smile.

I helped them get their stuff to where they were gonna stay, listening to them talk about their small adventures back in republic city.
The boys walked inside their guest house and I showed Asami hers.
