I walked up to Carl's house. He only lived a few blocks down from me and I had seen him walk home a few times. You know those bad neighborhoods I mentioned? This is a very good example of one. I hopped up the front steps and knocked on the door. I heard from inside the house someone scream for Mickey to get the door. I was confused but that went away as soon as the front door opened. Mickey Milkovich opened the door with a cigarette in his mouth. Why he was there was unknown to me.

"Who the fuck are you?"

"Well hello to you too. I'm here for Carl."

"Yeah okay.. come in."

There were many people crowding the house, I didn't mind though. A older girl with dark hair came over to me.

"Hi i'm Fiona, Carl's sister. This is Lip, Ian, and Mickey. Carl and Debbie are upstairs." She pointed each one of them out and they all gave small nods.

"Okay thanks." I gave her a smile and began to walk upstairs. I soon hear screaming between who I assume is Carl and Debbie. I had never talked to Debbie either but she seemed nice enough. I walk into the door frame of the room that the yelling was coming from. I see Carl and Debbie fighting over and object that I soon realize is Debbie's phone. Neither of them noticed me yet, as I stood in the doorway with somewhat wide eyes and a shut mouth.

"Give it back Carl! Give it, it's mine!" They continued to scream for a while until I knocked on the already opened door. Their heads whipped around and they stared at me.

"Oh hey babe." Carl said with his usual smirk. I rolled my eyes. He dropped the phone and started walking towards me.

"You ready? Or am I going to have to sit here and see you scream all day?" I said with sass. He shook his head, grabbed his jacket and walked out of the door frame. Carl took my hand and began to pull me away from the room.

"Nice to meet you Debbie!" I called out. She smiled slightly, still seeming embarrassed for the incident that just took place. We walked down the stairs and Carl yelled out to Fiona,

"Bye Fiona, we're leaving."

She called back, "Hey, be back soon!"

I was about to say something when Carl spoke instead.

"It's okay, it doesn't take that long to bang someone." A smirk rose to his face as he started for the door. I smacked his arm and shook my head.

We walked for a while, having small chit chat, until we reached the school. I walked up to the front doors and peered through, making sure that the janitor had left and the lights were off. I grabbed the set of keys and unlocked the front door, we quietly walked in.

"Woah. This is fucking awesome." I chuckled lightly at his remark and started walking to the History class where he lost it.

"Wait what about the lights?"

"If we turn on the lights, don't you think someone is going to notice? And if someone notices don't you think they're going to send someone to come and get us? Well they will. So we walk in the dark."

He rolled his eyes and continued walking until we reached the class room. I unlocked the door and he rushed inside to the desk. I stood by the door to make sure no one was here that we didn't see. He looked on top but seemed to be struggling.

"Whats wrong? Are they not there?"

"No! I don't know where he put them!" I huffed and began wondering where they could be.

"Here, call your phone on mine and see if we hear it ring." He grabbed my phone and dialed my number. We soon heard a buzzing noise from the inside of his desk. He tried to open it but it turned out to be locked.

"Shit. What are we going to do." I rushed over to the desk and grabbed a bobby pin from my pocket and uncoiled it. I began twisting and turning it until I heard a click. I stepped back and made eye contact with Carl, he seemed impressed. I went back to the door as he started rummaging around for his phone. I soon heard footsteps down the hall and I peered out to see  the janitor waking our way.

"Shit Carl! We need to go." He rushed over and looked out of the room only to quickly pull his head back in.

"The fuck! I thought you said he was gone!"

"I thought he was!"

The janitor paused and turned around to make sure a classroom was locked and saw this as our moment. We rushed out and I frantically locked the door behind me. We rushed down the short hallway and around the corner. I plastered my body against the wall and Carl decided to plastered his body against mine. He looked down at me and we stood there for a moment just staring at each other until we finally heard the janitor leave. He took a couple steps back and chuckled a bit.

"What was on your phone anyways?"

"Eh a couple of dug dealers locations. Didn't want to rat them out." He said it as if it was normal.

"Ah. Well that sounds fun." I shook my head with a smile and began to walk out the front door.

"Hey wait!" He pulled a wad of money out of his pocket and handed it to me. I was surprised. I didn't actually expect or wish to be paid.

"Keep it. I don't need it." He rose and eyebrow questioning if I meant it. I nodded my head and he stuffed it back in his pocket. We continued to walk until we reached my house.

"Thanks again for my phone."

"Yeah yeah no problem. Goodnight Gallagher." He shook his head smiling and started off.

And with that I walked to my door and he walked home. I went to sleep and thought about the whole night in my head. I thought that was the end of me and Carl Gallagher, but I was very, very wrong.
