"Dude, please stop, we were just messing around, please, we're sorry!" screams a blonde teen.
The raven haired boy looks at the other being cradling his friend. His eyes colder than the dry ice in his soul. He smirks.
"Okay.", he breathes out and walks away. The sounds of sniffles and relief followed closely behind him. The raven was a boy of many different colors blue, black, red, and gray. This was Levi Ackerman. This was the 17 year old teen that allowed the voices and misty, dull clouds to follow him around.
"Pigs" he laughed out as he walked away from the nearly dead boys. Levi was still laughing as teenagers stared at him in disbelief.
'Did he really just do that in front of everyone?!'
'How did a teacher not see what he just did?'
'What do they care? It's not like anyone wants the dumb degenerates at this school anyways. They're always trying to pick a fight with someone so I might as well have just taught them a lesson to leave people alone the teen tried to justify.
Levi looked around and realized the girlfriend of one of the boys was crying as her friend comforted her and chanted reassuring words into her ears. The girl was known to be the school's sweetheart, Historia Reiss. Although she had a sickeningly sweet face, she was known for her evil tactics in justifying what she thought was right. Levi wasn't scared though, and if she decided to take it to the extreme, he would have no problem in ending everything at once.
The walk from Levi's school to his house took about thirty minutes to an hour depending on if he stopped to meet up at the park with Hanji. The park contained many trees. By this time of the year, all of the trees were dead, for it was winter. Levi looked at all the branches wishing he could climb to the top of a tree and look deeper into the mist of the winter time To Levi, winter meant being stuck in his house with a sucky person due to the horrible weather, yet it also made him feel warmer than summer did.
e:
The flu. The one thing I don't want to be dealing with in the beginning of the school year. I've already a crap load of homework to do, but instead of doing it like I actually should've, I've just been wasting my life away on the internet getting looking at sites I probably shouldn't have been. I decided it would be best if I went outside for a split second. It was a bit chilly, but considering I live in Oregon, it's weather that I'm used to during this time of the year.
I make sure to tiptoe my way downstairs quietly as to not disturb my sister, Mikasa, who was probably reading on the couch. Just as I thought she wouldn't notice me, her heads snaps up. She stared straight ahead, not at me which I found to be sort of creepy.
"Eren, if you're going to go anywhere, please at least bundle up," she sighed, "here, wear this". She handed me the red scarf I gave to her a couple years back.
"Thanks.." I mumbled making sure not to make eye contact with her as wrapped it around my neck, slipped on my vans and walked out of the front door.
'Might as well get the mail since I'm out here' I said as small cloud-like puffs flowed out of my mouth. I look up and see a strange boy walking down the other sighed of the road. His fists were bloody; eyelids red almost as if they were covered in some sort of rash. I hesitated at first but then finally called out to him.
"Hey!", I croaked then soon coughed after the frog noise. God, I sounded horrible. At least I did get his attention. He stopped and looked over at me with an unamused face.
"Are you alright?" I squeaked out some more. It took him a while to answer as if he was contemplating whether to reply or not. His face grew to be very grim at the sight of me.
"I'm fine." he mumbled, barely audible. The black haired boy started to walk off again. If he thought he was going to walk away that easily, he was wrong. I would either help him or report him to the police. I decided to do the bravest thing to prove that he didn't scare me.. even though he did scare me to my core.
"Wait! I know something's wrong, hold on. Please don't go anywhere". I knew the short raven would probably take off as soon as I turned around to head back into my house, but I decided to follow through with what I was going to do anyway.
"Mikasa! Where's the really cheap first aid kit we got from that camping shop?", I shouted
"I don't know, check under the bathroom sink.. but what's wrong , Eren? Are you hurt?"
"No I'm fine, I'm just trying to assist someone"
"Who?"
"I don't know... found it! Thanks"
She didn't reply. Expected--she doesn't like me being around random people or strangers neither me or her know. It's understandable, but now was a different case. I made my way out of the front door once again to surprisingly see the teen with the dark aura still standing there, swaying his small, frail figure around until he saw me approaching.
"Here" I opened the kit and pulled out a bandage and dropped it back in the pouch, "you can have this.. unless you want me to tend the wounds for you" I chuckled. There was an awkward silence when I realized he did not find my tease even the slightest bit humorous, in fact he just dragged his eyes up to meet mine. Not even the slightest change in expression. Strange.
"Thanks uhm..-"
"It's Eren,"
"Oh, ...thanks Eren"
I nodded my head with a slight smile. I anticipated learning his name. I started smiling really big when I realized his name could've been Chad or Brad. Not that I have anything against those names, but y'know.. how weird would it be if this short emo thing's name was actually Chad (Okay I really started laughing, what If Levi was actually Chad AHAH OR KEN((BARBIE KEN)). I knew he could tell I really wanted to know his name, but he showed no signs of giving it to me.
"Well, um Eren.. thanks again, bye" he said uncomfortably.
"Yeah, see you. If you ever need anything just... knock I guess"
"Sure"
And with that, the small boy was walking off into a state where he became a smaller speck than he already was (:-I) and was out of sight.
Oh what a strange encounter with a strange boy. Oh, strange boy, what is your name?
A/N:Guys, I'm really loving the start of this! Okay yes, it is quite short, but whatever quality v.s quantity, right?
-Rynne :'-)
