Yo. I've decided to try writing a new story. The main character's name is Ruby and the story starts out with her and her boyfriend of 8 months. This is an AU as Dan and Phil are not famous yet but they're out of school. Sorry if it's kinda slow at first but I have a lot of ideas for this story and I'm really excited. Ok so here we go.

Ruby's P.O.V.

"Babe, we're going out tonight,"

I nodded and he looked at me.

"Why don't you say something useful instead of ignoring me?"

"I nodded..." I replied but he gave me a glare. "I'm sorry Leo."

"God you're so useless to this world."

~ Next day

I don't have a job. Leo takes care of the money for the house; he thinks women are better in the house than actually working. I do everything around the house.

I needed to get food for tonight's dinner so I decided to go to the grocery store like I usually do.

I was walking the isles when I almost ran into a person. "I'm so sorry," I immediately apologized.

"No no it was my fault."

I looked at him and gave him a confused look. "That was definitely my fault."

"Not necessarily; it was just mine as much as yours."

I gave him another confused look and quickly hurried past him. Why was he being nice? Leo said if someone is nice to me they want something. What did he want?

I ran home after paying and started making the meal.

"Aren't you done yet? You're supposed to have the meal done by when I get home," Leo said.

"I'm sorry I got distracte-"

"Don't make excuses!" he yelled at me.

"I'm sorry, it won't happen again."

I gave him a plate of the lasagna and he sat down and took a bite and immediately spit it out. "What the hell is this?!"

"Lasa-"

"It's horrible," he threw the plate on the ground shattering it and glass flew everywhere.

I felt a sharp sting in my arm and looked down to see glass sticking out of it.

I let out a whimper and he whipped his head to me. "You're such a pathetic waste of space."

~ Next week

I decided to treat myself a little to coffee so I headed to the little cafe I knew a few streets away.

I walked in and sat down alone while someone took my order.

I had just started sipping on my coffee when the door's bell rung and I looked up to see the man from the grocery store. I quickly averted my eyes so it didn't look like I was staring.

He started walking towards me and sat a table away, ordering immediately just as I had done.

He glanced around for a while and looked over at me. "I know you right?"

"No sir, sorry."

He squinted his eyes and stroked his chin. "Hmm; wait you're the girl from the store!"

I was surprised he even remembered me.

"May I sit with you?"

"What do you want."
