Sometimes I wonder,
Why they haven't delivered my Hogwarts letter.
On the night I turned eleven,
No Hagrid came bursting through my door,
No owl post or more
I hope they could hurry up though
I've been waiting, spring and snow,
There was no sign of Hogwarts I could find,
So happenings, I made in my mind
Maybe they couldn't find me,
Maybe they can't deliver overseas
The owls might be confused where to bring my letter
So they decided to give it later
But whenever they give I'll make sure I'll be ready,
With my trunk that's maybe a little heavy
I know I will, end up standing
At platform nine and three quarters, running
I'll just have to wait, and you'll see
The real wizard in me,
As long as I keep in my mind
Hogwarts is my home, it's the only kind
But this I promise you,
I WAS NEVER A MUGGLE!
It's the owls that struggle
