Draco proposed.

Idk about you, but I'm not a brain dead zombie, so I'm happy about their proposal.

Let's get started.

Hermione's POV:

"Yes." I whispered.

Draco smiled.

He crushed me into a hug.

"Thank you." I said into his hair.

"You're welcome." He whispered.

Now I let the tears flow out of my eyes.

He pulled back.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

I smiled.

"Yea, I'm just so happy..." I said.

"You were getting your tears in my hair. That's a no-no." He said, waggling his index finger at me.

I smiled again.

Tears were still falling down my face.

"I need a shower now." He said, pointing to a wet section of his hair, presumably where my face had been.

I laughed.

"Sorry." I said.

"No need to be sorry." He said.

He reached out his thumb and swiped a stray tear off my cheek.

"You look much prettier when you don't have tear stains on your face." He said.

I laughed.

"Thanks." I said.

"Here." He said, handing me a Kleenex from a box next to the couch.

I just realized what a weird word Kleenex is...

"Thanks." I said, blowing my nose.

"You need it." He said.

When I was finished, he looked at me.

"Yup. Definitely better." He said.

I smiled.

"Thanks, Super Snake." I said.

"Welcome." He said.

He pulled me into another hug.

"I don't know what I would have done if you had said no." He said.

"Why did you think I would say?" I asked.

"Slytherins and Gryffindors aren't always the best to be together." He said.

"Well, we're one special case." I said.

"Yea."

He pulled away.

"Here." He said, taking out the ring box.

I didn't get a good look at the ring earlier, but now I saw what it was.

It was a silver snake coiling around a diamond.

Tears threatened to spill over my eyes again.

Draco slipped it onto my ring finger.

They put the ring onto the ring finger because it's the only finger that has a vein going to the heart.

"You're welcome, Hermione." He said.

Suddenly, I realized something.
