After 3 days I got out of the hospital, still a bit weak and shocked about the news the doctor told me. I opened my eyes and found myself being awake before the alarm, again. I slept bad and every day I slept less. It was time to tell the truth. Well, I took the first step and called my parents to tell them to come home, so I could talk with them. And there was Mike as well. He was the father; he had to know about him becoming a father. I got out of the bed and looked into the mirror.

Barely the third month, nothing was seeable, but soon this would change and everybody would know my secret.  Sure I could abort the baby any time, but this would be murderer in my eyes, even though it would help me a lot. But what would I have from this?  Nothing, absolutely nothing.

I grabbed a pair of black jeans and a black sweatshirt with a “Turtle me on” print.  I put the sweatshirt on. While trying to zip up the jeans I noticed that my belly got bigger, not much, but very much noticeable when you’re trying to put on a skinny jeans. “Awesome” I thought while trying to zip up my jeans and hold my breath. “Yeah, you made it” I thought happily about my winning.  Then I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair and do something with my makeup, which consisted more or less of concealer and lip balm. The clock told me that I had a few minutes more left until it was time to go, so I thought about eating something. But as soon as I entered the white-grayish kitchen and opened the fridge my stomach told me “Bad idea honey”. Thank goodness we had a toilet downstairs too, because otherwise I would have puked a little fountain-mess in my kitchen made out of yesterdays pizza which was my dinner.

When I came out of the toilet I took a gulp of water to get the puke-flavor out of my mouth. Well the little procedure took my few minutes away which were meant for my breakfast. “Nevermind Flora, breakfast would only end up in the schools toilet. And the last you need is more attention than you’ll already have today.” I told myself and took my bag to go out.

Luckily Tara was already waiting for me in her car. I sighed, she, Max and Evy were the only ones who knew about my pregnancy and with them I couldn’t even wish for more support. They were helping me like hell and without them I wouldn’t even know what to do.

I opened the door of Taras blue Mazda and greeted her. The drive was more or less silent, except for the radio which was playing Katy Perry. I sighed and looked out of the window. “I called my parents. They should be here in a few days” I told Tara while watching us pass the houses near our school. “Oh well, it’ll be tough to tell them the truth but it’s time.” Tara said while looking concentrated at the street.

I nodded. “Well there’s also Mike...” I started to talk while she was parking into the parking lot. “What the hell is this?” I pointed to the left corner of our school building where Mike was standing with a girl in his arms. Tara cleared her throat and told me:”You know Mikes girlfriend, well she transferred to our school. I wanted to tell you, but didn’t know how” I nodded but in my head there were going on thousands of things. I remembered the girl with the chopper- colored hair which came into the room while Mike and I were arguing. Nice memory by the way.

I took a deep breath and opened the car door to step out. Mike and the others had already spotted me so there was no way to flew from them. “Flora, are you feeling better? What was wrong? O my gosh we were so worried” were the phrases I heard out of the group and they made me smile somehow.

“Hy there, well everything is ok now. So don’t worry” I told them shortly and my eyes immediately swapped to Mike. He was looking at me worried and wanted to say something but his girlfriend was faster. “Hello, I’m Alexandra, we already know each other, you remember at Ben’s house?” she asked and her blue eyes told me she wasn’t amused at all that Mike paid me some attention. I smiled and agreed “Yes, I remember, you’re his girlfriend aren’t ya?”
