Chapter 4 | Was it love or a summer fling?
Flash back to that summer..
My aunt was a traveler, which meant we had to move a lot which wasn't really easy for me because I had to learn new subjects every two months or so and making friends was hard for me back then because they all thought I was weird but I didn't really care. Then, my aunt retired and decided we should live in North Carolina where her mom lives. She used to work at target where she met my Uncle Tom.
"Come on Kristen finish unpacking." Aunt Suzanne pointed to the dozen of boxes I forgot to open .
"Man this is a lot of work."
I carried two boxes up to my room which belonged to me. My room wasn't that small, it was kinda of big which was good so I can finally have more space for my piano. To the left there was a window seat and the view was outstanding.
"Let's see what we got here." I whispered as I unboxed the first one
As I was Unboxing I heard a screaming outside.
I looked out the window and look to other house next to mine. There was a girl and a boy sitting on the doorstep kissing and a little girl playing what it seemed to be her brother.
"Nash! Nash! Stop it!" She ran as he chased her
Nash? And I'm guessing the other one who's chewing the girls hair is Hayes? What the fuck.. What even ...why?
I've heard of these boys before but I've never really was a fan of them. All I know is that They used to be in magcon but not anymore.
"Kristen! Kristen!" Uncle Tom shouted
"What?!" I shouted back
"Come downstairs were having dinner with the grier's family."
My eyes widen. We're having dinner with the grier's family, seriously? I don't really see the point of it, actually.
I grunted and opened one of the boxes that had my clothes in it, i grabbed my gray cardigan , black shorts and a black top with my vans.
I walked downstairs to see my Uncle Tom and aunt Suzanne dressed up fancy, while I'm hear wearing vans.
"Seriously? Dinner with the Grier's?" I whined
"What's wrong? Don't like them already?" He laughed
"No, I just don't want them to see me eat like a pig." I said sarcastically
"Well come on we don't wanna be late."
The three of us headed out the door and the Grier brothers were still outside .
The guy,Nash saw us walking so he ran and welcomed us.
"Helloooo, welcome to the neighborhood I'm Nash and this is skylynn and that's Hayes-."
Hayes was too busy sucking his girlfriends face off. The scene I witnessed was pretty revolting.
"Hayes!" Nash yelled
Hayes and the girl departed and both looked at me, and Nash
"Oh sorry hi welcome, I'm Hayes and this is my beautiful girlfriend Beverly."
Again... Revolting ..
Their front door opened happening to reveal a women wearing a Hannah Montana shirt, which happened to be their mom.
"Hey welcome please come on in." She smiled
We all went inside. It was awkward at first because my Uncle Tom kept laughing at the women's shirt, I mean it's great she's a fan .
"So where's the food?" I joked
"We'll be eating dinner at 8." Elizabeth said
