It was my first day of high school in 576 years.....that may seem long to you but really it's not that long because I'm a vampire.
"Honey, time to get up!" my mum shouted from downstairs. I buried my head in my pillow as my mum continued to shout. I finally began to haul myself out of bed and put some slippers on, not even bothering to straighten out my pyjamas and my hair.
"Finally!" My mum cried as I stumbled downstairs with my bed head hair, my pyjamas messed up and...my daylight ring missing!!! "Oh no!" I cried as I started to sizzle and smoke. I ran upstairs with inhuman speed and grabbed my daylight ring. I heaved a big sigh of relief as my burns began to heal...all except one, which was turning a horrible brown colour!
