Boyfriend troubles

     ~Jamie's pov~
                  It was a normal day, I would walk with my boy-best friend Zach to school. Okay fine, I'm dating him but it's fine that I'm gay. You don't have to come out to gay parents, right? Zach and I were holding hands and walking slowly down the sidewalk, when he stopped.
"What's wrong," I asked.
"I'm scared."
"Of what?"
"This, you know being gay."
"Why are you scared?"
"My parents think it's wrong, and I have to come out to them. You're lucky that your parents are gay, they won't care," he said starting to cry.
"Hey, if they don't like it you can come live with me."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."

~Time skip to after school~

~Ross's pov~
      "I'm home," I heard Jamie yell.
"Hey, how was school?"
"Okay I guess, is dad a work?"
"Yes, and your sister is at a friends house. So why were you home so late?"(It's 3:30)
"I was at Zach's house."
"I've been hearing a lot about this Zach, what's going on with you two?"
"Nothing dad, we're...uh....just friends. Yah friends."
"Come on, I know it's more than just friends."
"Fine I'm gay, and we're dating."
"How come you never told us that, how long have you guys been dating?"
"Um, around a year."
"That's so cool, my son is growing up," I said messing up his hair.
"Dad! This took dad forever to do!"
"I'll fix it, come here," I said fixing his hair,"Your father will be happy about this."
"How do you know, he's the protective one."
"I'll tell him later, okay?"
"Okay, I'm gonna go play minecraft."
"That's my boy."

Jamie giggled and walked to his room. About ten minutes later Max walked through the door with Amber.

~Max's pov~
           "I'm home," I yelled walking in holding Amber's hand.

       Amber ran to her room and I walked up to Ross, and hugged him from behind.
"Hi," I said kissing behind his ear.
"Hey, how was work?"
"Good, how was sitting on the couch and watching anime until the kids got home?"
"Good, and I have something to tell you," he said pulling me to sit down on the couch.
"What is it?"
"It's good news, about Jamie."
"And what's the good news?"
"Jamie is gay."
"Really," I said as a smile grew on my face.
"Yep, and you know that Zach kid he's always talking about?"
"Yah."
"They're dating, have been for a year."

          I pecked Ross's lips and walked to Jamie's door. I knocked and it slowly opened, to see a tear stained Jamie.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I should have," he said softly as I pulled him into a hug.
"Hey it's okay, I'm not mad at you. I'm actually happy, why are you crying?"
"Zach just called me crying, he came out to his parents. They hit him dad, they injured my boyfriend. It's just not fair," he sobbed in my shoulder.
"Listen do you want me to go pick him up from his house, are his parents still home," I said trying to comfort my son.
"No they left disgusted in him, can we go get him?"
"Yah of course, let's go."

We left the house and drove to Zach's house. When we got there, a bruised up child walked out the door and Jamie ran out of the car crying. Him and Zach hugged and cried to each other. They walked back to the car holding hands, calming down a little. When they got in, I introduced myself.

"Hi Zach I'm Max, one of Jamie's dad's."
"Hello sir I'm Zach, Jamie's boyfriend."

~Jamie's pov~
"And so I've heard, so have you guys kissed yet."

          Our faces lit up bright red, our hands sweaty, and our bodies went stiff.

"I guess not," he said with a small giggle.
"No dad, we have not."
"Okay, well when you do it's not a big deal. You've been dating for a year, so what's the big deal."

I can't believe my father, Max La'Plume, is encouraging me to kiss someone. He's always been protective. I can imagine my other dad doing that, but not him. But what ever. When we got to the house I instantly took Zach to the bathroom and closed the door.

"What are you doing," he asked as I tried to lift up his shirt.
"I'm checking to see where they hurt you. Did they take out like knives and stuff?"
"Yah, but just a tiny one. You don't have to do this you know."
"I know, but I want to. Take off your shirt so I can see."

He took off his jacket and shirt so I could see the cuts and bruises. I bandaged them up and started to kiss them, one by one.

"What are you doing," he asked with a small giggle.
"Kissing it better."
"Okay then, proceed Doctor Jamie."

I placed a bandage on the last small cut on his face and kissed it softly. I felt his face heat up as our noses were almost touching. I leaned in a placed a soft kiss on his lips, they were soft and warm. Just then I heard a knock on the door.

"Hey you guys okay in there," my dad said as I opened the door. Zach was putting on his jacket and smiling.
"Yep, I was just bandaging him up."

I grabbed his hand and we walked to my room. We sat on the bed and watched anime. Zach tried to snuggle into me so I helped him a little, and put my arm around him. We sat there for about an hour, then Zach fell asleep.

"You're always safe with me, nothing will ever happen to you when I'm around," I whispered," You're my one and only, and I never want to lose you. I love you."
