Prologue
The year was 1922. The begining of the roaring 20's, and the jazz age. She that girl in the white frilly dress and feather with chin length brown hair that's me, Alice, and my two best friends, Clara and Rachel. We did everything together since we were six. Me and Clara had been best friends since we were four. We met Rachel when we were six, I wasn't so sure of her then, but now we've all become best friends .
Now we're all 24 and hanging out at the coolest bar, Puzzles, doing all the coolest dances like the Charleston. See that guy across the bar with brown hair, suit and cigar in his mouth that's Charles and I don't know it yet but he's about to become a very important part of my life and change it forever.
