Life of a 6th grader

Band life

     The school is quiet. But deep near the exit/entrance there's a gym. Inside the gym are 20-30 kids running amok and playing on their phones as others were bugging the one and only teacher in there, Mrs.B. She is the music teacher and band/choir director. Andi is in band, with her best friend Katherine. Who's her ride home.
    As Katherine and Andi walked to the gym after school for band, Andi saw Miguel. An 8th grader. In Andi's mind, she said "Hey you! Your hot! Your parents did a good job with you! I may be in 6th grade but eh, it'll work out!! Some people get married and they're 10 years apart!!" B-uu-tt... What really happened was she just stood there and pretended not to see him, hoping he would look at her.
    Later, while band was off practicing by themselves Amanda, one of the popular girls in Andi's class, started laughing for no reason.
( Amanda, what's up with the chicly like laughter?! Andi said
(Ha ha. Never mind! Amanda said
Then all of a sudden while people were playing their instruments, Amanda farts! Of course everyone started laughing, even the quiet kids. But Amanda denied it with all of her might.
