He heard a loud smash then yelling. He thought to himself,Ugh they're fighting again. I swear one day they're going to burn this stone house down, even if seemed unlikely you never really do know.
Bruno moaned and pulled himself up, out of his hard stone bed. He had hating living in a house that was on the side of a moutain, but it was all they could afford. Plus, it won't be easy for them to burn it in one their fights. That's really the only reason he was still breathing.
He walked over to the opening where his wooden door was supposed to be, but they burned that down, too. (Along with his real bed and a bit of his claw while separating them from a violent fight). He shuffled through, his tiny black claws making small indentations. Immediately spoting fire, he pranced over to a little cloth hanging off a miscarved slant in the wall and snatched it. Bruno waved it around the fire until it was put out.
When he turned his head the first thing he saw was his humongous parents spitting flames in fury toward each other. He walked passed them, them ignoring him completely.
He took a bit of mountain goat that had previously been leftover from last night.
By the time he was done his mother and father had made their way into their bedroom, still hard at work with criticising each other. Bruno packed up his bag slowly hoping that he'll be late and not have to go to school. Even though he knew it wasn't going to happen. All he wanted from today was a little less bullying from Susan and Charles, after all it had been a two week break.
Once he snapped back into reality he heard a creeking noise, which he automatically knew was his parents door opening. That meant it was time to go to school. Bruno sighed.
He arrived at the front gates along with other children, one of them being Susan and Charles together. All he could look at was how stunning Su was (he called Susan Su for short).
He had forever wished that they could be lovers, but she was his number one bully. He shifted his eyes over to hunky Charles. All the girls thought he was the cutest most humble guy ever but most of them never met him and he was an absolute jerk.
At the sight of them after, gazing for awhile, he tilted his head down and walked toward the gates. One other dragon opened the fence for him, giggling a bit at the size of Bruno. Why is everybody so mean, thought Bruno as he walked through."Move it shortcake", spat Charles suddenly. Some kids laughed and others stayed quiet, not wanting to anger the middle school hunk.
He shoved Bruno aside, slamming him against the black, metal fence. Bruno all the sudden felt a piercing sensation in back and butt."Hahaha" laughed Su with her high pitched and perfect laugh. Bruno got back up slowly, and played it off as if nothing had accrued.
Once he had made it to his class with Mr. Kirk he knew would be safe for the hour the class lasted. Mr. Kirk was like a father figure to Bruno and he lived close, too. Whenever he wasn't wanting to be in the cave with fighting parents he could go there for protection also.
Bruno sat on his chair and waited for his best and only friend to come. She was also Mr. Kirk's daughter, Julia. She was a very beautiful as well, but not in the way that Su was. Boys would drooled over her just like Susan. But Su in a different way.
"Hey what up Bruno?" said Jul as she basically ran up to him and gave him a big fat hug."Oh, hey Jul how's it going? My parents got in another fight against this morning sadly." "Oh, sorry. And have you ever listened to what they're saying?" "No I actually haven't, why?" "Because maybe you could get them to stop by fixing it, or helping them figure it out. I don't really know, I just don't like when people fight because it makes you sad and-" "Sloooooow down I can't understand you, and please breath." "OK. What I was saying was: and I get sad when you get sad and I don't like being sad."said Julia, finally finishing her sentence.
"Hello children, we are not going to start any nonsense today and just get right into flying." yelled Mr. Kirk professionally. Then he began giving strategies with his amazing wings in his, larger than most classroom.
