After laying on my bed for the past hour, I tried to figure out what to wear. I look down at my t-shirt and jeans. There was a party and I needed to look good for it. I didn't want to be known as the geek my whole entire senior year. Not gonna happen.

Getting up to look through my closet I was literally cringing at my clothes for the past hour. I only had really nerdy clothes, i wore vans and skinny jeans and tees most of the time. I was to insecure for my own good but tonight was going to be fun. I needed to loosen up.

Finally decided on a tight fitting black dress that hugged my curves perfect but I didn't know if the short black dress fit my curves the way I wanted it to or not. I wanted to be seen but I didn't want to be seen seen, you understand? Me deciding on what to wear out is like fighting a bear but tonight was the night though, I had to look my best.

My friend Bridget is a cheerleader at Burdenwood High but I'm kind of the outcast. I take photography photos and try to fit in. Bridget kind of just smiles and everyone swoons. She is also graduating this year too and honestly, I'm going to be so torn when she leaves to go to college. I will definitely miss her.

Anyway, Bridget is supposed to be at my house by 7pm and it is 5pm right now on the dot. I needed to hurry!  Giggling to myself but also approving of my last decision on my dress and heels, i finally decided to get all the way ready, but first I needed to listen to some music.

**************

Bridget looks at me with wide eyes and smiles, holding a hand up to her mouth. Walking down the drive way, making sure I don't accidentally fall. I look back at her with a smirk.

"How do I look?" I said. Twirling in a circle gently.

Bridget giggles and nods her head. I blush and stick my tongue out.

"You look so amazing in that dress" she said.

"Thank you so much" I said giggling.
I walk to the passenger side of the car and laugh.

"You coming or not?" I said.

"You just look so good. I cant believe how dolled up you look" Bridget says smiling.

Looking down at my dress and mumbles, "I look alright. Hopefully I don't look like a busted biscuit".

I get in the car and sit in the passenger side while jamming out to my favorite station on the radio. I listen to pop mostly but I like any kind of music really.

When we pull up to the party, the party was so loud and pumping with energetic music. Swaying through crowd of people to get into the house. I roll my hips to the beat when I reach the middle of the dance floor.

Looking around, checking out everybody with a huge smirk on my face. This is going to be so fun. Realizing someone was staring at me, I gently turn my head a little to the side spotting a tall dark and mysterious guy giving me glances and looks at me dead on when he finally sees me looking at him. I look straight ahead  to the crowd as soon as he sends darts my way, sending cold chills down my back.

Biting my lip softly, I was squinting in the crowd to find Bridget. I don't see her anywhere. She is probably having fun of her own.

I started walking to the bathroom, careful of not trying to trip on red plastic cups on the ground. I spot a couple making out on the wall.

Mumbling to my self.  "Hornballs".

It took me a couple of minutes to find the bathroom. There was legitimately so many doors to this house! It was insane. Taking a look at the makeup Bridget did for me. I started to fix a little bit of my makeup while leaning down into the sink wiping up the gunk from my eye. I smacked my lips together and looked myself up and down. I could finally say I looked like a whole snack. Like damn babygirl.

I giggled.

When I pulled the door to open it, I hit someone with the door on an accident. Saying sorry as many times as I could because I didn't mean to run into the guy that just passed me but he also didn't care either. I don't know why I cared but I did. He didn't even say anything back! Rude ass people.
Getting out of my thoughts I began to work my way down the hall to the crowd again and smirks when I spot Bridget.

I finally turned my head and looked right up to find the same guy looking right at me. It was weird but it made my body set on fire. Not in a bad way either. It's funny because I've never had that problem before.

Giggling to myself once more with mumbles, "yeah who knew?"

Continuing my walk to the middle of the dance floor, I slid right in the crowd and started dancing. I smiled a big smile, feeling great. I knew he was watching me. Did I care? No. Did I want him to watch me? Yes. I think he knew it too because I saw him smirking right at me.

"You have no idea how glad I am to see you. There's someone here that is watching me, kinda creepy right?" I said

Bridget looks around with dizziness in her eyes and shrugs. "You're hot. I don't know why you are tripping. The only thing wrong with you is the hair that's on your toes." She said giggling.

Giggles and rolls my eyes. "You're lucky that I love you yannoe? I can't stand the words that come out of your mouth sometimes"

Bridget rolls her eyes with me and we share a huge smile. I kept dancing until my feet begin to hurt. Bridget always knew how to have fun. She never stops to surprise me.
