When I awoke the next morning I felt extremely weird. I had no idea where I was or how I had gotten there. It was as if my entire memory of the entire week had been wiped from my brain. "Where am I Who am I? I groaned as I rose from the bed. After a few minutes, I remembered that the creature known as the Grundel and I had narrowly escaped those bad people oh what were their names? I asked myself frustratedly. "Grundel is you hewa?" I asked peering into the darkness searching for the Grubdel.

"Yes Princess, I am here." The Grundel replied.

"Whewe is you? Why can't I see you?" I asked.

"I can not manifest right now as I am extremely weak from fulfilling our deal." The Grundel replied with a sigh.

"What deal?"

"You wanted me to return the children who had come our to play back to their human forms. You see, when a child has a bad streak, I call them to come out and play. Enticing them with the promise of having fun. It's my job to teach those naughty children a lesson. Once they learn their lesson they are free to return to their normal lives. If not, then they turn into Grundel's like myself."

"Cursed forever to roam the Earth with no one to love them. You didn't want this to happen to your friends, so you asked me to release them from their punishment and allow you to take their place. I agreed but in doing so, I have lost a lot of energy. I'm not even sure if I'm going to survive."

"You see, it's t he evil/bad seed qaualities in children that give me strength, the more children I turn, the stronger I become. Yet, I know how much it hurts you to watch me carry out my duties. I can't bear to cause you pain Princess. However, if I don't do what I was created to do then I'll waste away to nothing and some other creature will take my place. Perhaps another Grundel, one without compassion."

"What would happen to me should that happen?"

"I don't know Princess. I do know that it wouldn't be good. Most ghosts that I know won't honor our agreement. The thought of loosing you is unbearable. I hope it won't come to that.."

"Me too." I replied with tears in my eyes.

The Grundel sighed. "I must rest now. You will see me tonight. Oh, one more thing before I go to sleep, please promise me that you won't go outside child." The Grundel replied weakly. "Should those Ghostbusters see you I would not be able to rescue you. As they would surely capture me and put me in their terrible containment unit. We'd never see each other again."

"I won't let that happen!" I replied angrily and the Grundel smiled. "Gwundel?"

"Yes?"

"Me don't feel any diffewent. Shouldn't me be like you?"

"No. You are still human child because that is what I desire, and human you shall remain." The Grundel replied.

"Me is confused. Why did you make this deal with me? What's in it for you? Why wouldn't you want me to become like you? I thought you loved me?"

"Of course I love you. I've wanted you from the moment I saw you. I knew that you'd do anything for your friends and so you have." The Grundel replied.
