I walked down the old, eerie dirt pathway, studying the clouds above me. Finally I got to the end of the path and sat down besides the scruffy, old oak tree and watched the sun slowly dim in the sky and the moon creeping up behind. This was my favourite part of the day, bright colors painted the sky with enthusiasm and passion. It was a beautiful, intelligent design of stripes. I decided to go home and drift into a cozy, warm sleep.

Once I woke, I smelled BACON. I automatically jumped from my bed and zipped out of my room. As I quickly walked into the kitchen, I inhaled the bacon smell. My lovely mother looked up from her meal to my face and smiled with grace in her beautiful blue eyes. I quickly smiled back with delight.
"Good morning Claire!! How did u sleep?"
"I slept just fine. You?" I spoke with a slight smile.
"It was an amazing night! I slept all night for once!" She announced loudly. Jumping back from her shout, I quickly put my hand over her mouth.
"Mom!" I shouted in a whisper. "Be quiet! Joey is still sleeping! If you wake him now, he'll be crabby!"
"Oops..."

We eliminated breakfast and I went up stairs to take a steamy shower. Once the water was at a temperature I was satisfied with, I striped down and hopped in. I shivered as the heat ran down my bare body. Washing my hair was the first thing I did when taking a shower so I swooped up the shampoo up and opened the cap. Once I was done, I washed my body up along with my face and turned off the shower. I hopped out as quickly as I hopped in. My towel was on the counter ready for my body to be underneath it's woolly warmness.

To my surprise, Joey was awake and eating and it was 8:53!! He usually sleeps till 10:00 on weekends. I guess mother woke him up early for the exquisite day planned for us. Since we were moving, we have to pack! FUN FUN...
"All the boxes are in the van!" mom shouted from the garage.
"Ugh! I don't want to do this..." Joey complained as he swiftly moped out of the bathroom.
