Strangest night before Christmas I've ever had-Part one

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

a phew verses later

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,

"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a Good-Night!"     

As I finish reading I gently lean over to check she's asleep and kiss my lovely neice Eliza good night.I slowly back out of the room and switch off the light making sure I dont step on any toys as I go.

I slump down on the sofa and turn the TV on, ooh look it's the Glee Christmas special.Just as they start to sing the first song my sister comes through the front door.She sits down on the sofa next to me with the smugest expression on her face.

''so sis, how was your date?''

''Annie I told you it wasn't a date it was just to people watching a movie together thats all.And nothing happened anyway. Well kind of'' she said under her breath.

''what happend?'' I say with a stern look on my face.

''well... we were sitting there and he tried to do the old arm over should trick so i just ignored him.Then he lent in for a kiss so I...I...I punched him.''  

''right on girl''.

''Any way how was eliza, did she behave?''

''yup she was great I fed her some porridge just after you left, we watched a film while she was in her walker and then I put her in the cot and read her the night befor christmas till she went to sleep''

''great, thanks for baby sitting.Have you had dinner yet?''

''no have you?''

''nop, how does pizza sound I'm buying?''

''sounds good thanks''.

*****************************************A hour and 15mins later****************************************

''so Annie, are you staying tonight?'' 

''why wouldn't I.I mean it is christmas eve tonight.I can't wait to see Eliza's little chubby cheaks blossoming when she sees all the presents under the tree.'' 

''that reminds me, we need to set them all out''. 

So we did, we set all of them out.As we did i wondered why do babies get so exited at christmas, I mean they dont even know what it's all about.

The whole time at the back of my mind I knew at some point Laura would just have to ask the dreaded question... and just as i finish with the last present she sprung. 

Laura's P.O.V. 

There we were stacking...stacking...stacking.I couldn't hold my tonge any longer I just had to know. 

''Annie when do you have to go back'' 

''Back where?''

''Annie Emilie June don't you dare play that game with me you know where'' 

''look I work for Pan am.I'm an air hostess what do you expect.''

''so?''

''I go back to America the day after boxing day''

I let out a sigh.''Why can't you just have a job right here in Birmingham instead of thousands of miles away''

''It's not that far''    

''no Annie it is far i mean you are never here.You miss everything''

''like what exactly''

''well...........''

''exactly you don't know''

''well then, there is just sooooo many things it is hard to know them all''

And thats when it happened.She went in one of her Anniemal moods.She just said...

''well thats all the presents done I'm of to bed''  

'' Annie you don't need to be in a mood about it''

''I'm not''

''fine good night''

great a argument befor Christmas.  

Annie's P.O.V  

I sulcked into my old room and practicly crawled into bed.As I drifted off to sleep I mumbled to myself '' I hope I have nice dreams tonight, I really need one'' 

I dreamed I was the head air hostess on a flight to Austrailior and I was tending to the passengers in first class.I went to see the captin to get a weather report for one of the passengers and sitting in the captains seat was my Dad!!!!!  

He turned round and smiled.

''Dad what are you doing here?????''

''I'm your very own goast of christmast past but with a twist... I'm gonna take you to some of your best christmas eve's ever.
