Chapter 25

Hermione's POV:

*two weeks later*

Our wedding would be in one year.

June 20th.

Today, I'm going shopping.

I told Draco that I was just going for clothes, but I really was going for his wedding ring and a wedding dress.

He gave me some money to take.

At first, I refused to take it.

However, he tickled me until I agreed to take it.

Men.

I decided that I would need the extra cash, though.

Although $300 was a little excessive.

I had about $200 from a savings account of my own, but I realized that it wouldn't be enough.

I decided to just apparate to a wedding store.

*three hours later*

I was finally done.

I had chosen a wedding dress, a ring for Draco, and some normal clothes to not arouse his suspicion.

I really liked the wedding dress.



It was simple yet elegant.

It took almost an hour to find one in the right size.

I couldn't find a veil, but I shrugged it off.

I could find one another time.

The ring I got Draco was perfect, too.

I couldn't find one in the shape of a snake, but I did find a silver one.



I had had the green and the M engraved on it today.

I figured out Draco's ring size a couple days after he had proposed.

I had dared him to try on my ring.

He agreed.

It got stuck, through.

It took a while to get off.

He said that he was a size 9, not the size 5 that my ring was.

I have absolutely no idea if the info above is right...

Don't ridicule me over it!

I hoped that he would like it.

I knew that I would like whatever ring he gave me.

I couldn't believe that I was engaged to the Slytherin Prince, the boy that I had had a crush on since sixth year.

I could barely believe it.

All day today, I kept looking at my engagement ring.

It seems too good to be true.

But I knew it wasn't.
