Serenity POV

Hi my favorite people, My name is serenity Barnes, I'm 17 years old and mixed, my parents name is shanya and Xavier Barnes, my favorite color is any shade of blue, I have hazel-green eyes and hair that stops at my waist, I'm slim and 5'5 inches tall, and we just moved from California to London,england. Well enough about me ttyl babes

Serenity: mom why do we have to move all the way out here

Mom: cause sweetie me and ur father got a new better job, aren't you happy for us. I'm sure you would love the new house.

Serenity:dad please tell mom I don't wanna leave all my friends and love ones back in Cali

Dad:sweetheart your mom is right, this could be a good start for us and you remember why we took the offer in the offer in the first place.

Serenity:dad let's not talk about it *signs*

Mom: serenity, hunny you would be just fine okay, your first day of school is tomorrow

Looking out the window of our
range rover. I start to think what kid you know starts their first day of school on Thursday, not that I'm complaining. Anyways as my dad pulls in the parking lot of our new house or should I say mansion. I take time to admire it and I must say it beats our old home by a lot, but nothing is like Cali where I grew up at, where my friends and love ones are.

Mom:serenity are you coming
Serenity: yea

Getting out if the car I take in the scene around us and I must I'm getting chills just by looking at it.
Walking in the house it looks even for beautiful with its vintage/modern style. I go up the stairs and see the only door with my name of it, on the third floor. My room is like the size of a living with a big king size bed and mint bed spread to match my walls and carpet,let's not for get a fish tank in the wall. In the corner is my desk with my macbook I got last Christmas. The bathroom has double sinks, a separate glass shower and bath let's not forget a huge mirror.

*skips to dinner*

Serenity: well goodnite mom and dad I'm going to bed

Dad:well get a good night rest baby girl and see you and the morning.

Mom: oh and don't forget to set your alarm for school hunny

Serenity: ughh mom don't remind me

Walking into the room I just flop down on my bed and let sleep take over me. My last thought being what my new school is like.
