I bid my girl gang a big adios albeit I didn't want to. I was enjoying applying the nail paints, I was enjoying watching those chick flicks and I was enjoying hearing Juhi's grunt when my health took a toll on me, leaving me with no other option other than leaving for my place and taking some rest. My head was banging from past two to three hours and I was feeling completely giddy. I traipsed down to the building's gate and flung my hand in the air, hoping an auto to stop by, but my luck, as usual, it was against me. So I decided to walk the distance home or catch an auto on the way. Instead of turning to the right, I turned to the left, deciding to make my way through the shortcut. "That doesn't mean I'll let you go through that unsafe road", I recalled what Vivaan had said about this shortcut but I ignored it and continued my way through the road. The street was eerily quite, not marked by the presence of any mortal or a vehicle. I quickened my pace to reach home fast, as this isolated road gave a strange vibe to me. My head was banging and I felt as if I will tumble down soon. My legs immediately came to a halt and my face instantly turned pale when I saw the very familiar black and white bike lying at the side of the road, near the footpath. I ran towards the sight, praying all the gods in heaven to keep him alright.

I stood there, completely immobile. No, it couldn't be him, my mind said in a very slow voice. My breaths quivered weakly as I neared him. My heartbeats had already gone faster and my palms had turned slightly sweaty. His bike was all over him, his leg tangled in it in a way that it seemed impossible to remove. The right side of his face was facing up, whereas the left side was on the concrete road. I crouched down on my knees and gently turned his face to me. A gasp escaped my mouth when I saw a bit of blood pouring out from the cut near his left temple. I then made a look at his left hand and immediately flinched, scrunching my nose, producing an 'ssssss' sound. The wound was complete red and it seemed deep. It was bleeding and I wasn't able to bear this sight. It was horrible. I was just too fragile to see so much of blood. I didn't realize my cheeks had gone wet. No, Aaru. Don't cry. Take him to the hospital. Be strong.

I realized that calling the ambulance will be futile as there's no guarantee of it showing up on the right time. So I called Sarthak who lived just two or three minutes far from here.

"Hellos Aaru, missing me much?" He cockily said.

"Hel... hello Sarthak. Come here fast, the short route from your lane to my area. It's Vivaan's accident. Hurry up. And yeah, bring your car and the driver along with you. I don't want any other accident. Please, just come fast", I hurriedly said, my voice dripping with panic and worry.

"Fuck", was the only word I heard from him.

"You stay there, try to wake him up or something. I am coming. Be calm. Panicking will not make the things better"; he said after a pause of some ten seconds and then ended the call.

"Wake up, please wake up", I murmured, gently slapping his cheeks. My eyes had become moist and tears were threatening to fall from there. The wounds on his hand, the way his leg was stuck, blood near his left temple were a way too harsh that it would pluck the strings of humanity even in a ruthless person. And this was Vivaan, a person I know, the person I keep squabbling with, the person I had such a blissful dance with, the person, just two days back I realized I had un pea feelings for and plus this headache. He was lying there insentient and it was such a pain seeing him like that. I moved near his leg and very gently tried to lift it up.

"Aah", a yelp released from my mouth when I saw blood there too. Tears were now rolling out of my eyes freely as I tried and tried to remove his leg from the bike.
