Place: Frisco, Texas
Time: 6:27pm
Situation: Kate is driving on a one-way street going the correct way. Ally is unaware that this is a one way street and is going the opposite direction and going over the speed limit because she just moved to town 2 weeks ago... Both of them are leaving work.
And then Kate spots a bird off the side of the road and
CRASH...
Kate's seatbelt rips in half and she flies out of the front windshield and over Ally's car. Ally slams forward and hits her head on the steering wheel. She has a headache, but immediately gets out of her car and turns around and sees a girl laying in a pile of glass, metal, and blood on the hot asphalt... Ally starts to cry. "What have I done?!", she screams. A woman living in the house right next to the accident called the police and Ally could hear the ambulance. Ally sees Kate struggling to flip over on to her back and Ally quickly ran to her assistance. "Owwww" Kate says. Ally replies, "Don't move the ambulance will be here any second!". It was all a blur for both of them. Kate was about unconscious and Ally's adrenaline was rushing through her body. The paramedics put Kate on a stretcher in one ambulance since she was worse than Ally. Ally was then taken by the other ambulance since her arm had started to hurt.
Place: Dallas Hospital
Time:7:03pm
Kate is rolled in on a stretcher with Ally on a stretcher right behind her. One of the paramedics was Ally's cousin, Whitley. Whitley asked Ally if she knew Kate. She said, "Is it Kate Boffman?". He said yes. Ally replied,"Oh my gosh, I was her best friend in elementary school!?!". Whitley then put her and Kate in the same room since Kate was unconscious. Ally was given pain medicine and she watched them examine Kate. Kate had 2 IV's and she was on tons of pain meds. Ally looked over her with all those needles and monitors and she started to cry. Immediately a nurse ran to Ally's side and asked what was wrong. Ally told her she was embarrassed and how she missed Kate so much, and her probably only chance to see her, she almost kills her. The nurse tells Ally that's it's ok and that Kate will live.
