3. Amelia and Carson

Of all my siblings, I'd have to say Carson likes to torture me the most. Sure, Death may succeed at it more, but Carson would be the one that actually tries.

The thing about older sisters is that they're always wanting to boss you around. And I know this, being an older sister myself. If probably be the same way if I weren't so terrified of Death. Vlad is pretty chill though, the need to boss him around doesn't arise often.

At sixteen, Carson could probably be the dictator of a small country with the amount of command she packs into every sentence. Not to mention the anger. Although, I guess you can hardly call it anger if it's the mood she's in all the time. My mother and I tend to ignore it, while Death and Vladimir use it to their advantage. It's easy to agitate someone who's naturally angry.

I remember this one time, those two little devils rearranged Carson's entire room and she'd been livid. It took her a solid week to get over it.

At the time, I had been in my room quietly reading the latest issue of Teen Vogue (I have to get my subscription secretly and pay with my own allowance, mother would kill me) when I heard a great roar come from Carson's room down the hall. Her words were muffled since she's a little ways down the hall, but I knew it couldn't be good.

"...DID THIS TO MY ROOM! I WANT TO SEE DEATH PUNISHED! SHE'S NEVER PUNISHED, ALL BECAUSE SHE'S THE STUPID BABY OF THE FAMILY!" I heard Carson complaining to my mother (loudly) when I tiptoed out of my room and peeked around the corner.

"Honey, she didn't even harm anything, all you have to do is put those things back where they bel-"

"IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE, MOTHER! UGH!" Carson then turned on her heel, stomped back into her room and slammed the door in my mother's face. My mother (as she does with everything) chose to take it lightly and just slink away down the corridor, waving her hands about gracefully like some type of gothic fairy. It disgusted me. Had I been in Carson's position and done what she'd done, I'd be sent to the closet for the remainder of the day.

When that occurred, I hadn't really seen the big deal either

When that occurred, I hadn't really seen the big deal either. I mean, what could Death and Vladimir have possibly done to her room to cause that type of reaction. My mother even said, they didn't destroy any of her belongings, just rearranged some things. No big deal, I thought. I was wrong.

You see, before then, I had never really been in Carson's room before. One day though, I remember her being at her boyfriend Drake's house and of course that was the day I had wanted to borrow a pair of her platform shoes since Death and I were playing dress up (we do get along every once in awhile.) So, I figured it would be no problem if I just went into her room and borrowed a pair as long as I returned them before Carson got back to the manor.

Like I said, her room is just around the corner from mine but up until then, I'd never been in it simply because she hates people going into her room. It's just her thing. So when I opened the door, I had to do a double take of what I saw.
