Kate POV

I woke up the next morning far too early for my liking but had to get over it. Work was waiting for me and I definitely needed to get my mind off of last night. Why did he have to kiss her? Screw that why did I have to see it? It was bad enough my hopes were raised last night, well that is before I saw that. The good news is there were no paparazzi in sight so I won't have to see it again. I don't know why I care so much. It's not like were dating, I shouldn't be upset he kissed someone, he's single. 'You care because you like him idiot.' Looks like my inner self was in just as much of a bad mood as I am. I drove to work blasting loud music with the radio down, doing that always seems to make me feel better.

"I'VE BECOME SO NUMB I CAN'T FEEL YOU THERE, BECOME SO TIRED SO MUCH MORE AWARE." I was shouting the lyrics to "Numb" by Linkin Park when I arrived at work. I always enjoyed their songs but rarely was in the mood to listen to them. I guess there was that upside to things, I was finally in the mood for their music. I said hello to everyone I walked past before entering my section of the studio. When I went to unlock the door I realized it was already unlocked. I opened the door carefully and checked my surroundings. Henry was leaning against the wall looking out the window. "God Henry you scared me, how did you even get in here?" He turned around and smiled at me. "Sorry, I wasn't really sure where to go so I just came to work early." I walked over to my desk and set down my bag. "Give me a heads up next time okay?" He nodded before turning back to the window. Then something hit me. "What do you mean you weren't sure where to go?" I walked over to Henry and heard him sigh. "It's a long story." He mumbled as he turned to me with a defeated look. I went over to my chair and patted the one next to me. "Technically we're both early, I've got plenty of time to listen."

He told me how he and his girlfriend had just broken up, and how he had no idea she was unhappy. That he didn't want to live in his apartment anymore so he sold it to his now ex. He went on to say how he didn't even feel like he had a right to be mad since she was so nice about it. How he felt more disappointed that he didn't see it coming more than anything else, and how more than anything he just wanted to move on. "I'm sure its for the best but I'm still sorry you had to go through that." I rubbed his shoulder as he held his head in his hands. "Thanks, it's weird feeling this low. I'm normally a pretty happy guy." He lifted his head up to look at me. "Why don't you seem happy today? It couldn't be because of what happened to me." I was taken back at first before regaining myself. "I look upset?" I was starting to think Henry knows me a lot better than I think he does. "You do to me, something wrong?" I removed my hand from my shoulder and began to play with my fingers. "I saw the guy I like making out with some random girl." I looked up at Henry. "I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, it just hit me hard because I thought he liked me. It was like a kick back into reality." Without warning Henry gave me a hug. When we pulled apart he almost looked happy. "Fuck this." He said as he stood up, he pulled his phone out of his pocket before grabbing the docking station amongst all the other tools in this room. "There's no need for us both to feel bad and ruin the day, whatta ya say we make this fun?" He plugged his phone into the stand before looking back to me with a genuine smile. "Any requests?" He asked. "Actually" I said as I stood up, suddenly feeling better. "I do have a request."

I was mixing paint as me and Henry half sang half rapped horribly along to Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. "What's your name? What's your number?" Henry pushed into me as I was making the paint. "I'm glad I came, can you take my order?" I pushed him back before insisting he get ready. No matter how much fun this is we do have a job to do. "Yeah yeah." He muttered before unbuttoning his shirt and placing it on the chair beside him. He began to undo his belt when I decided to look away. When I heard the familiar sound of his compression shorts I turned around. I had never noticed how fit Henry actually was. It's like his body was almost sculpted. "Kate?" Crap, I must have zoned out. "Yeah sorry, you ready?" "Always." He breathed before I began my work. It was almost as if I'd never painted him before. Every inch of his body looked better than I remember it did. 'I bet Sebastian's is better.' I angrily pushed that thought out of my mind. Sebastian is not what I want on my mind right now. "Almost done Henry, need a break?" "If you don't mind, I'd just like to stretch." He got down from where he was standing and began to move his arms and legs. Showing off all of his muscles. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and took off my cardigan, suddenly I wasn't as cold as I use to be.
