Sarah's P.O.V

"Hello Richard" I said, trying to keep my voice steady "how can I help you?"
"You know what I'm here for" he growled "where is she"
"I don't know what you mean" I said, looking around the room for an exit, but only seeing the door and the windows
"I'm here for our daughter" he said "I have come to take her back to my pack, I know she's almost 15 and she will soon be shifting so my wolf can sense her. If you don't give her to me I will get her myself" He stated, getting up and walking towards me, i turned around so i was still facing him, with my back to the windows, then said "Richard, please, she doesn't want to see you or anyone else in that pack, she wants to meet her mate and join his pack" I told him he took a step towards me, and i took a step back, towards the windows.
"Look Sarah, I don't know what you've told her about me, but please, just convince her to give me a chance, I-" I didn't wait to hear the rest of what he was saying, I turned around and jumped out the window. I landed outside the building and saw many passers-by looking at me in shock. I ran to my car, started the engine and raced home to Alyson.

Richard's P.O.V

'That bitch, how dare she leave me like that, i was talking to her and she left' I thought to myself
'Don't worry about that, worry about if she's OK' my wolf, Caelan, said to me
'I already know she's OK' I told Caelan 'Thats why I'm not worried'
'How do you know she's OK' Caelan asked
'Because of our bond you idiot'
'Well, if I'm an idiot, that would make you an idiot too because I'm a part of you'
Well, he has a point there, i thought, blocking my wolf
'Come on, we can't let her het too far ahead or we'll lose her' Caelan told me.
'Lucas, Michael, get my car ready, I need to go get my daughter' I sent out through the pack link

Alyson's P.O.V

"Run Alyson" My mum said in a scared voice, "Take Sera and run"
"Mum, whats going on, why are we leaving?" I asked, starting to get scared
"No time to explain just take Sera and run" she said, looking into my eyes
I ran downstairs and grabbed Serenity, causing her to wake up, i also grabbed a bottle with some milk in it my school bag and Serenity's blanket then ran back upstairs to see my mum standing by the front door in a defensive position, she must have sensed someone behind her because she turned around and when she saw it was just me she faced the door again
"Take the back door and head into the woods, don't stop for anything" she told me firmly, "I'll catch up if i can. And don't trust anyone"
I nodded and gave my mum what could be the last hug i ever gave her then ran out the back door with Sera still in my arms.
