~Jimin's POV~
"ChimChim! Come help me with these boxes!" My mom called from downstairs."Coming umma!" I yelled back as I set down the boxes in my new room, the attic, and ran downstairs to help. I saw that she was trying to carry the biggest boxes.
"Umma, give me those. You're going to hurt yourself." I sighed as she gave me the boxes.
"ChimChim I could've carried them." She said as she sat down in the chair I just brought in. I set the boxes down in the kitchen and walked over to her. Kneeling in front of her, I felt her forehead.
"Umma, you're burning up! The doctor told you to not lift anything over 10 pounds! You need to rest. Stay here, I'll get the rest of the boxes." I said as I pushed her hair out of her face. She placed her hand on my cheek and smiled at me.
"You look just like your appa, you know that?" My blood boiled at the mention of my father. He divorced mom and took my little brother, Taehyung, putting mom through a state of depression. I threw on a fake smile as I stood up and walked out to the moving truck. Starting to get hot, I took off my shirt, not noticing the girls walking by on the street.
"Oh my god. You're so hot" One said with a dreamy tone. the others nodded in agreement.
"Sorry ladies but I don't swing that way. I'm gay." I said bluntly as I picked up three more boxes, flexing my muscles involuntarily making the girls sigh. I rolled my eyes walked up the walk way to my front door when I heard them talk again.
"That house is haunted you know!" I stopped and turned around.
"What?" The girl nodded as her and her friends walked up to me.
"The reason this house was so cheap was because there was a murder in here. I actually knew the boy that died. He always smelled like vanilla. Anyways, they say that one night his father came home drunk and was hurting his mother when he came down and tried to save her. The neighbors say that they heard a gun shot and then two hours later the cops came out with a covered body and said it was the kid! His name was Jungkook and they say if you walk up to his old room, you can still smell his vanilla sent." She said in a creepy voice. I rolled my eyes and gave them an annoyed look.
"What room was his old room?" Her eyes shot up to the very top window which was my room, the attic. A shiver went through my body as I felt a breeze come from no where.
"I just wanted to warn you. I hope to see you at school!" She smiled as she walked away with her friends behind her. I turned back around and walked inside to see my mom crying. I dropped the boxes as I ran to her side.
"Umma! What's wrong?! What happened?! Why are you crying?!" She looked up at me a smiled.
"I-It's Taehyung. He wants to live with us b-because he wants to live with you and your father agreed. Jimin, we got TaeTae back!" She cried. I felt a huge smile spread across my face. I hugged her tightly as she cried tears of joy onto my bare shoulder.
"That's great! Umma I'm going to go and start working on my room okay? All of the boxes are inside." I said as I walked up the stairs into the attic. I sighed as I looked around. There are old toys, some manikins and a few boxes that didn't belong to me. The attic is old and dusty and it just doesn't look welcoming. Time to change that! I grabbed a broom and start to clean up the cob webs and spider webs on the ceiling, making dust move which made sneeze. Opening the window, I got a sudden waft of vanilla. My window showed the back yard and there was a giant tree in the back with blossoms on it. I smiled at the sight until I heard something behind me. I turned around and saw nothing.
"Hello?" I walked over the where the noise came from and I saw that one of the old boxes fell over and books fell out. Walking to the box, I looked at the books and saw that they were old yearbooks. I opened to the inside cover and it said: 'This yearbook belongs to: Jeon Jungkook'
