Chapter 2~ Just the beginning

A/N- The video is to get a better understanding of Elena's bionics, so you can imagine the fights better from now on. :)

Previously-

"Tony...I..." I trailed off trying to avoid his intense gaze.

NOW

I tried to find a way to explain what happened to him without exposing myself.

"I'm listening." Tony said staring intently, I was about to speak but Jarvis interrupted.

"Sir, Nick Fury is on the line." Jarvis spoke.

"Tell him I'm busy." Tony said looking annoyed.

"He's insisting sir." Jarvis said. I let out a deep breathe when Tony left to take his call, but not leaving before giving me a look. I continued to sit on the ground trying to think of an excuse, how will I explain this? I couldn't help but listen into Tony's phone call with Nick Fury, I pulled a piece of hair behind my ear activating my super hearing.

"Tony, we need you in, along with the other avengers." Fury said sounding desperate.

"Why? More aliens?" Tony said, not really wanting to be apart of this conversation.

"Not really, we traced activity of attacks in New York, robots are attacking, and they appear to have the form of a human."

"Out of all places, why the hell would they choose New York?" Tony said remembering the events that last occurred.

"Ask them that, Tony we need the avengers help, they attacked nearly 12 times, many dead and many injured." Fury said.

"Fine, I can see you're desperate, I'll be in New York first thing tomorrow." Tony said hanging up on the line.

Robots in the form of humans? Sounds so familiar...oh no.

"It can't be...he succeeded, he stole my fathers research." I said shocked, and they're gonna bring The Avengers for this battle, they can't, I won't let them, if it really is my uncle then I'll take him down myself.

"Victoria, I have to leave for New York right away, we'll continue our talk some other time." Tony said ready to leave.

"Wait, let me come with you." I blurted out.

"Absolutely not." Tony said sternly.

"Why?" I questioned back, I will go to New York with him, I have to.

"Because...I said so." Tony replied with his lame comeback. I glared and he shrugged his shoulders before suiting up and leaving. Wow, so he just left me here in the middle of his lab?

"Jarvis?" I said.

"Yes Miss Serenity?" Jarvis spoke.

"Where in New York is Tony going?" I asked.

"I'm afraid I can't give you that information miss." Jarvis said being a pain.

"Please tell me Jarvis, I have to get to New York right away."

"So you can help The Avengers with your bionics?" Jarvis spoke back.

"What?...Who told you that?" I said shocked.

"I know everything miss, no worries Tony is clueless." I let out a breathe. After that Jarvis actually gave me a location, I thanked Jarvis and went back to my house. I didn't really need anything, if anything I would speed back home in less than 1 minute. Originally it would take 42 hours to get to New York but thanks to my bionics I can get there quick, it's unknown how fast I can go but when I use my super speed I can't be seen so that's a benefit.
