The next morning, Harry and I ordered a bunch of room service before we had to be moved to the bus. As soon as we were all settled back on the bus and we were on the road, Harry pulled me over to my bunk. He laid down, then pulled me on top of him. He shut the curtain, not wanting to deal with the other people on the bus. I share a bus with Victoria, Molly and Bri, but Gabbie, Rose, and Gwen were all on the bus today to hang out with the girls. Usually I would join them, but I knew Harry wanted to talk to me. I'm also going to selfishly cling to him because I've missed him so much.
"I missed you, Ave," he mumbles, reaching up and giving me a kiss. I run my fingers through his hair and he hums in appreciation. One of his hands goes to rest on my back while the other rests just below my butt. I pull back, resting my forehead against his.
"So, this movie," I shift a little, getting more comfortable. "What's it about?"
"It's a war movie," he starts. "Dunkirk. World war two. It's directed by Christopher Nolan."
"Holy shit. Wait... a war movie? Harry, soldiers didn't have-"
"Yeah, I know," he interrupts. "I'd have to cut it all off. No long hair. I think that's the scariest part, honestly."
I roll my eyes at him and he chuckles. "So have you officially signed onto it? Or are you still going through auditions and call backs?"
"Well, if I want it, it's mine. I just don't know if I should take it. I feel like it would be really cool and that since the guys and I are on break that it's perfect timing. It's just something really new and different, so I'm kind of scared. What do you think?"
"If you think you'd like it, then obviously you should take it. I think you would have a lot of fun, and I think you'll like trying something new. And if it doesn't work out, it just doesn't. I doubt that will happen though, if Christopher Nolan wants you in his movie then you have to be good. He probably sees something in you."
"You think so?"
I nod, smiling at him. "Yeah, I do. And as for the hair, I know you'll look handsome no matter what. You always look handsome."
"I guess part of me is just scared to work solo. I've become so used to being with the boys that it's terrifying to even think about releasing music and doing new things without them."
"Just because you do solo stuff doesn't mean that the group won't be around. The boys will support you with whatever you do, just like you'll support them with what they do. And then you guys can have a bomb ass reunion tour and make a bunch of what used to be teenagers but are by then adults cry over four grown men."
"You're an odd one, love," he laughs lightly, mainly at my last statement.
"S'why you love me."
"That, and hundreds of other reasons," he hums, smiling as he give me a quick kiss.
"You're so good to me."
He rubs his hands over my sides as I lazily kiss him. The bus comes to a sudden stop, which pulls us apart and I fall to his side. He flips us so I'm under him, propping himself up on his elbows.
"I love you so much, baby girl. I could sit here all day and go on and on about how grateful I am for you and how much I love you. Quite frankly, there's not enough time in a day."
His words were so sweet that they actually made me speechless. All I could do was lay there and stare at him with the goofiest smile on my face and pink cheeks. His eyes were absolutely stunning, even though it was dark in my bunk.
"And to absolutely ruin this moment," he smirks. "I really fucking wish we were alone right now so I could show you how much I love you."
"Well, at least you used a more romantic term. You would have completely ruined everything about this if you'd just said-"
