Chapter 27

I shut the door and sighed.

I walked over to my bed and sat down on it.

How can this be happening to me? I just want to be normal. For once in my life, can't I just be normal?

I started to pack all my things.

Fold clothes, put them into the suitcase, repeat.

I was like a robot. I couldn't feel anything. Shock had finally started to take effect on me.

Once I was finished, I moved to the next room that I needed to pack up.

I stared at all the weapons. I grabbed a blade and stared at it.

Silver. It's so beautiful, so... sharp.

I placed the blade next to my wrist. I gently moved the blade back and forth, caressing my skin with the sharp object.

I frowned and then put a bit of force on the blade. I then moved it and felt the knife slice my skin open.

I sighed at the relief of being able to feel something.

I winced and placed the blade down. I watched my skin try to heal itself, but it couldn't. The silver was preventing it from healing.

I walked out of the room and into the bathroom. I got the towel that was close to me and pressed it against the cut I had made.

Stupid. So stupid. Why did I do that?

I lifted the towel and studied the cut.

F*ck. It's a pretty deep cut.

I then felt a sharp pain on my other wrist. I gasped and took a look at it. I saw a red line appear on my wrist. It wasn't as big as the cut on my left wrist, but it sure hurt a lot.
