Leaning on the wall designated to me, I watched as people passed by. I saw Allison and Xander coming my way. Looking further, the school looked like any normal school with students gathered at the parking lot. I could see people's eyes staring, some didn't even bother hiding the fact that they were staring like the idiots they were, I mean you'd think , they'd have some manners. I was used to the staring and the gossiping by now, it was an everyday thing. Though I did wonder if they would ever get tired of their gossips and staring. But they were high school students, the only thing they were capable of doing was to spread rumours. I mean you'd think they'd get tired of it, but nope you hear a new one everyday.
"So whaddya think Ry" Allison asked looking at me. I hadn't even noticed that she had gotten here neither did I notice that she was talking to me. "What" I said looking back at her dumbly. By now she was used to me zoning out. "I said whaddya think about us going to Glitz tonight?" She said referring to a night club where we occasionally go to. "Sure" I said" Is he going?" I asked, nodding at where Xander stood texting. "Yeah, he is" she replied and suddenly Xanders head snapped towards us, glaring at Allison. "I never said I was going" he said "Yeah, well too bad. I didn't ask you". "Well, you were supposed to ask. It's my choice you know."
"Well, too bad I don't care" she said sticking her tongue out at him. "But you're right it is your choice, so if you don't wanna go, guess you don't have to. There's always the option of staying at home with Damien and your parents and having a nice, wonderful dinner" she said smirking and walking away towards the hell hole we call school, knowing she had won the argument. I followed after them easily getting ahead of them seeing as they're both in a very heated argument. It was something they couldn't go without, eventually you'd get used to their bickering, it became my form of amusement. Shaking my head at them, I pushed open the door to the hell hole called Hearst High Academy.Heading over to my locker with Allison and Xander at my back. After taking my books out of my bag, I put in my earbuds and blasted the lyrics to hey Hude, turning the volume up.
"Nice of you to join us Ms. Anderson" Mrs. Smith's nasally voice greeted me as I walked into class. She sounded like those balloons that are blown up and then the mouth is closed leaving a small space for the air to come out. It made me cringe. "Since you decided to come late to class, you can have a seat next to Master Thompson." Heading toward the empty seat next to the nerd sitting by the window on the first row, I sat down. Unlike most other schools, we didn't have assigned seats, we sat where we wanted. But my self claimed seat was the window seat in every class. But for some reason the nerd decided to seat there. Don't get me wrong I had nothing against nerds, my bestfriend, Allison was a nerd. I never had to say it out loud, everyone just left the seat opened for me or stood up when I got there. Ignoring Mrs. Smith drone on and on about whatever it is she was teaching I took my phone out and started texting Seth. I wasn't dull and I always had good results but I really don't need to learn about some old dudes in the past doing whatever it is they did. I am grateful to them for making this country but that's about it.
After long excruciating hours, well minutes actually since I missed almost half the period. Don't ask what I was doing. The bell finally rang, I stood up automatically grabbing my grey and blue Nike bag, and headed out of class.
Ah, lunch my second favourite time of the day. My first being 3.00 the time I get to leave this place called school. After grabbing what looked like a burger and a soda. I paid for it and went to my table.
Time went fast and now I could finally leave this h...hole. As I climbed into my red Audi ,I slammed the door shut and drove towards the place I knew so well, the place permanently imprinted into my memory, my safe place. The place only I now know about. Getting down from my car, I grabbed my bag and walked towards the forest. After walking for about five minutes, I turned coming to a huge tree that stood in the middle of the forest, pausing to awe at the tree I used my hand to trace the engravings on it R+D forever with two hearts on each side and a picture of a stick boy and girl. The memories of when this engravings were made, made me smile, bending down and clearing away a few vines I crawled through the hole just big enough to take two people. Coming to the other side I stood up dusting my clothes. The place still managed to take my breath away. It was a garden hidden in the forest with a river flowing through it and tucked to the side was a small little cabin that belonged to me. Dropping my bag in the cabin I looked through it expecting to see that worn out black pouch I was used to and my books and my little music book but what do I find a glasses, books and paint brushes this shocked me beyond belief. It wasn't like there was anything expensive inside there it was just my camera and my music book that were in there that mattered to me most they were precious and there were also my school books in there but I could worry about those later. Right now I was more concerned about my camera and book and how I was going to get them back. They were precious to me and contained a great piece of my childhood and my memories.
A/N sorry for the short chapter I promise the next one will be longer. Please read ,comment and vote. Picture of garden at the beginning. Xander is Jack griffo and Allison is Kira Kosarin.
