Faline's Brother is a Champion

Hungarian Horntail

It was the morning of the first task for the tournament. Hermione and I went to check on Harry in the champion tent. Hermione told him the key is to concentrate and then gave him a hug. There was a flash behind us and we turned to see Rita Skeeter with her quick quotes quill. i remember when I first meet Rite Skeeter.

(flash back)

I was in Care of Magical Creatures and we were studying dragons ironically. When Professor McGonagall came and told me to pack my stuff. I did as I was told and Ginny watched me. I sent the class one last longing look before following McGonagall back to the castle.

"What is wrong Professor? Is Harry ok?" I asked as we walked down a corridor. She told me nothing was wrong and that Harry was fine. "Then where are we going?" I asked completely confused.

We stopped outside a door and McGonagall turned to face me. She said this "the champions are doing a wand weighing ceremony. There is a reporter here from the Daily Prophet and she wants to interview you". I nodded and she left me to enter the room alone.

When I enter I saw the champions having their photo taken. "Oh you must be Faline Potter" an over cheery voice stated. I looked and saw a women in green looking at me with a glint in her eyes. I didn't like her straight away, so I ignored her and went to give Harry a hug.

I greeted the other champions and Mr Olivander before she took Harry and I into a broom closet. She was asking us questions about our parents and our private life. I told her nothing and sat there watching that stupid quill. It was writing lies about how Harry and I feel.

We left the closet and I said goodbye to the others before going to Hagrids. He was waiting for me and we went to help Charlie with the dragons again. I ate dinner with Hagrid, Charlie and the other dragon handlers in the forest. I went to bed tired and exhausted that night.

Hermione and I left the tent and went into the stands beside Hagrid. We watched Cedric, Fleur and Victor fight their dragons and retrieve their golden eggs. I released that Harry had the most bad tempted dragon out of the four. The Hungarian Horntail and it is also the most deadly out of the four dragons.

We watched Harry enter the arena and summon his Firebolt. But it took a while to get there from his room. He dodged a fire blast from the Horntail, by hiding behind a rock. The Firebolt appeared and he got onto it avoiding another blast of fire from the Horntail.

Harry was trying to get the dragon to use its wings. So that he could get the egg. It worked and Harry retrieved his egg with minimum injuries. The dragon handlers stunned the Horntail and took her back her cage. Along with her rock shaped grey eggs.

Ron finally believed that Harry didn't put his name into the Goblet of Fire. That night Dumbledore announced that the Yule Ball will be taking place on Christmas eve. And that the champions eggs will tell them want their next task is. We partied in the common room that night and I fell asleep curled up in an armchair by the fire.
