"Goodbye Sarah."
"Goodbye Cywren."
I looked at Sarah as tears began to form in my eyes.
"Do you have to go?"
"My place is here now."
She said pointing to the Citadel.
"She is right." Copper said putting his hand on my shoulder.
"I must take my father's place."
Sarah said and gave me a final hug. She bent down to Quazar and pet him on the head. She hugged Timebomb and Copper.
"Goodbye! I'll never forget you!" She said starting to jog in the opposite direction. I turned around and began to walk away. First Jordan's voice was gone, we finally found a home for Bryan and now Sarah left us. Things couldn't get any worse.
"Let's go exploring and get our mind off of things." Timebomb said smiling at me.
"Good idea." I replied. I pulled up my map and set the maker in a direction we had never been.
"This way." I said heading in a northeast direction. We walked for a several miles. We stopped and set up camp until it was light out. Copper was the first to keep watch of the camp. Quazar began to lick my face and I woke up. Timebomb was still asleep.
"Hi there Quazar." I said rubbing his ear. He barked in reply. I saw Copper sitting by the fire with his head in his hands.
"Good morning Copper." I said walking over to him. He said nothing.
"Copper?" I walked over to him slowly.
"Sorry, Cywren I just was lost in thought." He said looking up at me.
"What where you thinking about?"
"I don't remember."
Copper pulled some ant meat out of the fire.
"Want some?" He said in between bites.
"No thank you." I said as I pulled out some punga fruit and bit into it. It had a sweet and juicy taste. It  also had a strange yellow color to it. I heard a loud crash and saw Timebomb laying on the ground next to me.
"He is unconscious, again. Isn't he?" I said with a sigh.
"If only he wouldn't stand up so fast." Copper said laughing. He stopped laughing and began to stare again. I moved my hand to my Jayhawk.
"Copper?"
He turned his head towards me. This time there was no smile.
"You alright?" I said. There was no response. I began to panic. He threw his head back and roared. It was a blood chilling shriek. I stared into his eyes. They were no longer colorful and happy they were and empty black abyss.
"Copper snap out of it! This isn't you!" I yelled at him. He turned around angrily and I felt my self flung through the air. My vision became blurred and I almost blacked out. I slowly stood up to see Copper coming closer.
I pulled out my gun.
"Stop! I don't want to hurt you Copper! Your my friend this isn't you!" Just then Quazar jumped in front of me growling at Copper. He picked the dog up and chucked it away. The dog hit the ground with a yelp.
"Quazar!" I shrieked. "Copper look at me! I know your still in there!"
He raised his fist high. I shut my eyes and waited for the fatal blow.  There was nothing
I slowly opened one of my eyes to see Copper sitting on the ground crying.
"I do not know what happened to me." He said shakily.
"It's ok." I slowly moved over to comfort him.
"Stay away! What if I hurt you again?"
"I'm fine!"
"No you are not!" He said pointing to a cut on my forehead.
"It will heal!" I said beginning to cry.
"Cywren, I have to go. I can not be trusted anymore."
"No!" I yelled running to him. I tried to wrap my arms around him. I felt his hands slowly return the gesture.
"This is goodbye." He pulled himself away and packed up his things. He looked at me then ran away. I tried to run after him but I felt a hand hold me back.
"Let him go." I heard Timebomb say as he pulled me into a hug.
"No! He can't leave!" I said in between sobs. I tried to free myself but Timebomb held me back. I finally gave up and he let me go. I punched him in the arm and tried to run toward Copper. But I realized we was long gone. I sat down and stared at the horizon waiting and hoping he'd come back.
"Copper!" I screamed over and over again. I continued to scream until I couldn't anymore. I walked back down the hill. Timebomb was sitting by the fire bandaging Quazar up. I walked over to him.
"I'm sorry." I said sheepishly.
"It's alright." He said patting the ground next to him. I sat down and leaned my head against his shoulder. I sat there trying to comprehend all that happened. I felt a cold cloth against my forehead. Timebomb was wiping away some blood.
"Hang on I think I have something I can use to bandage it up." He said rummaging through his bag. He pulled out a purple bandana..
"This will have to do." He said as he tied it onto my head.
I turned and kissed him on the cheek.
"Thank you."
His face became red and he smiled.
"No problem." He said with a stupid grin on his face. Bang! I heard a gun shot.
"Raiders!" I yelled and grabbed my Jayhawk. I shot at them. Timebomb went running towards them and pulled out his flame thrower. Quazar lept into the battle.
"Stupid dog!" I heard a raider say. Then Quazer was shot and his lifeless body fell to the ground. I became angry and charged at the man who killed my puppy. I screamed at him.
"You heartless person!" Then he too fell to the ground. I ran over to Quazar, and put my head against his chest. There was no sound. I began to cry again. I was done with crying. Instead I began to scream.
"First Jordan, Bryan, Sarah, Copper and now Quazar! Who next, Timebomb?" I screamed to the sky. I went over to the raider who killed my dog and screamed at his dead body.
"You are a terrible human! Why would you do this!" I shot another bullet straight into his head. I walked back over to Quazar's limp body and began to dig a hole in the ground. Timebomb walked over to me and helped me dig the hole. He tried to his his tears. We lowered Quazar into his grave, and put dirt back on top. I put my Jayhawk on top of the grave and wrote Quazar in the sand. I found myself asleep back in my tent. I must have fallen asleep and Timebomb carried me back to my tent. I didn't want to move. Everything hurt. I wished life was normal again. Even having Jordan back would make things better. I slowly sat up.
"Timebomb." I said. He came over to my tent and peered around the opening.
"Yes?"
"Come here."
He drew closer. I gestured for him to sit down next to me.
"There is something I need to talk to you about."
"Go ahead."
"Timebomb... I." I sighed and looked into his eyes. "I love you."
"You... love me?"
"I do. I love you so much that, I have to let you go."
"What do you mean?"
"I can't risk loosing you like I did with the others."
"So your telling me to leave?"
I leaned forward and kissed him.
"I want you to stay." I said.
"Then let me stay!" He said with a lost puppy look in his eyes. He touched his lips lightly. I could tell he couldn't believe I just kissed him.
"I couldn't bear to lose you, Timebomb." I said trying to hold back tears. "Who knows maybe one day we will see each other again!"
He looked at me and shook his head.
"Cywren your the only thing I have left!"
"What about Big Town?"
He merely shook his head.
"You owe me this. I saved your life in that hospital bed, now here is your chance to return the favor."
He hugged me and whispered in my ear, "I love you too. So much that I'll do this, just for you." He kissed my forehead. I watched him as he packed up his things and turned around to me.
"This adventure has been fun but I'll see you next time." He said.
I saluted to him and he saluted back. Then we hugged for a while. He turned around and walked over the hill as the sun began to set. I watched as he disappeared into the endless horizon. I decided I'd go back to Megaton and live a normal life and settle down. I walked inside my house and memories came flooding back. There was a Nuka Cola on the ground, Bryan's blue gloves he left behind, a small piece of fabric with the Brotherhood of steel's symbol on it, Quazar's old bed, a little blue car Copper would play with and Timebomb's red glasses. He forgot them. I picked up all of these things and put them into my backpack. I couldn't live here with all of these memories haunting me. I walked outside of Megaton and I set my marker on my map to a new territory. It wasn't even registered on my Pip-Boy. I turned around and waved goodbye to the wastelands, and began to walk for days and weeks. I eventually felt that I had traveled far enough and set up a permanent camp. I had live there for quite a few months and I began to forget everything that had happened. I had begun a better life. But things got even better when I heard three wonderful but annoying words,
"Greetings fellow adventures!"
