Chapter 8.... Moving In

Elijah

I was able to talk to Klaus and take him into having Hayley and the baby stay with us. I stood in front of the house as Rebekah walked up to me. "Whats going on" "Well, Klaus is doing what he does; given a chance at happiness, Klaus runs in the opposite direction". "Then let him run. That child, if it's even his, is better off without him" Rebekah said mad. 

"He's not better off without that child, Rebekah, and neither are we" I said to her with a sigh. Rebekah walks up to me "darling, kind Elijah. Our brother rarely brings us anything but pain. At what point in your immortal life will you stop searching for his redemption"? I sigh "I'll stop searching for his redemption when I believe there is none left to be found". I walk away from her.

I walked back to the cemetery were Sophie was. It was now light out "so, how do you propose this will work"? We continued to walk "Your brother needs to cement his place in Marcel's world. His inner circle, the daywalkers, that's where we begin. They're his friends, his family. We'll be hitting him where it hurts" Sophie said as I agreed.

I walk inside the house seeing Hayley, Hayley coughs "Are you alright" I asks walking in the room "just dust" Hayley says "this place is ancient". "Yes it should serve our purposes" I says, looking around "its a sanctuary from my business in my curter". I walks up to Hayley helping her "right now your the most important person in this family, you need a good home" Hayley smiles.

"So I'm curses in all this time has anyone asked you how you feel" "about having a miracle baby with a psychotic one night stand" Hayley smiles as does I "about being a mother". Hayley thinks for a second "I was abandoned when I was born and my adopted parents kicked me out the second I turned into a wolf, so I don't really know how I feel about being a mother because I never, really had a good one". 

I is silent for a second "I will always protect you, you have my word on that". "Believe me he always keeps his word" I turn around to see Star leaning against the wall,arms cross, and a smile. "Even if the most stupidest one" I smile as Star walks up to us.

Star

"So you must be Hayley" I said "I'm Star, Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah s friend" I smiled at her. "I heard you, you hung out with the Salvatore brothers a lot" Hayley said as did a small laugh looking at the ground then back at her. "Yup that me" "well I think I will leave you two alone" Elijah said, walking out of the room.

 "So why are you here" Hayley asked me as I sat on top of a couch. "I was here before Klaus and he found me, invited me to stay with him, though I will admit the first house we were at here was terrible, I like this house much better".

"So how did you meet Klaus and all of them" Hayley asked me leaning on the wall looking at me. "It was a long time ago, my parents were killed by a vampire, actually that vampire was Damon Salvatore. He killed my mom, dad, and sister but before he could do anything to me Klaus came. He saved my life, then he took me in, he said (secretly) that I was like daughter to him".

"What ever happened" Hayley asked "well to make a long story short, Klaus and everyone trained me to be a vampire hunter but something happened". I looked at the ground biting my lip "what happened". I looked up at Hayley for a second "I fell in love with him. So I left, he got mad, met him again in Mystic Falls, and again here, I guess we both got the message so he let me stay with him".

I stood up and started to walk out of the room but stopped and looked at Hayley. "You may think Klaus is many things, but there is one thing that I have seen that not many people see. He does care" "well he has a funny way of showing it" Hayley said looking at the ground then back at me.

"I don't, does he, I mean you are caring HIS child" I said and walked away, leaving Hayley thinking.

 I walked up the stairs to look for a room and found one with the door open halfway and saw my bags inside. I looked around the room, it was nice, but who brought my things here. I set my bags on the small bench that was at the end of the bed and started to poll sheets off of the furniture.

Elijah walked inside "you like the room" "so your the one that picked this room" I said with a smile. "Yes" I rolled my eyes "do remember when you first left" "witch one, as I recall I left you many times" I said cleaning up and unpacking.

"True" Elijah smiled "what about when Klaus gave you an order to kill Damon Salvatore" Elijah asked. I froze remembering when Klaus gave me that order.

Flashback

"I need you to kill someone for me" Klaus sais "you finally are letting me kill someone" I said shocked. "Yes", I smiled "who" "Damon and Stefan Salvatore they live in there old house in Forks, Washington" Klaus said to me.

I shook my head "you might also remember Damon Salvatore as the guy who killed your family" Klaus said. I looked at him "still want to do this". I smiled "when can I start" I asked.

"Tomorrow you can use one of the car's to get there" I smiled and packed my things I was excited to finally be able to kill a vampire.

End Of Flashback

"Yes, why are you bringing this up" I asked Elijah looking at him with my arms crossed. "I was just curious why you haven't left to go be with him, I mean you did love him". I stood there silent "hope you like the room" Elijah said walking out of the room. I sat on the bed, mad and fell back on the bed.
