There really is a moment in your life that makes you think: "what would've happened if I never existed? Do you think their problems would lessen?"  Mark asked, even though he tried not to show any emotions, I could still see it in his eyes that he was hurting. Who wouldn't be hurt after witnessing your fiancé cheating on you with your own brother! Technically it wasn't his brother's fault because he was drugged by Jenny, Mark's ex-fiancé, she had this huge obsession for Jeffrey, Mark's brother, that neither of the two men knew about.

Jenny was obviously a sociopath.

Jeffrey suddenly remembering what his girlfriend had mentioned to him before, she said that Jenny had threatened to bring war to her and her family if she will not let Jeffrey go. Jeffrey didn't believe this the first time he heard it, he didn't believe that Jenny would do such a thing, she was so soft-spoken, gentle and sweet, or so he thought. "I should have just believed Macy! This would have never happened if I did! What did I get myself into?!" Jeffrey stated.

Mark then started to reminisce back to the times when he still had a peaceful life, all he wanted before was just to live a simple life, get married and have a family, he never thought that his family would become dysfunctional.

*the beginning of it all

Mark was just starting his first year of college at UCLA, he was taking pharmacy as his pre-med, when he met Jenny, she was a psychology student also a freshman. They met at a cafe near the uni where Mark worked as a barista, Jenny would always arrive there at exactly 7pm, even though he was attracted to her, he never actually asked her out on a real date. It had taken him 4 months before he had asked Jenny out on a date. At first, she declined his offer but because he was persistent, she had finally said yes. After 2 months of dating they finally became a couple. They were like any normal couple, but not the ones that PDA.

A year has already passed since they became official and so far, things have been going great between the two.

It was springtime, oh how I love this season. The grasses growing, flowers blooming and the cold, damp air. I was always fond of the idea of re-growth and hibernation, I never knew why but, the animals just seem at peace whenever they hibernate.

But you wouldn't even witness animals hibernate here in LA.

We were at my apartment packing all of our stuff because we were going to surprise visit my parents, I haven't told them about Jenny so this might just be the right time to do so. I've never brought a girl hone before, this might have something to do with the fact that I am such a wimp when it comes to asking girls out.

My parents' house is in Seattle, WA and we're coming from Los Angeles, CA

It took us 2 hours to get to our destination via plane.
