Prologe The World of Dotrillia

   The story I am about to tell you is one about power, control, evil, and hope.

It begins in the world of Dotrillia, a place of magic and wonder. There are two sides here. One, is the land hof Chancel. Here is where human live, with the Chancellors protecting them.

The other land is the land of Deval; a foul, evil place where the Smites make their home.

The Smites are beings with powerful abilities. They come in two types; Ice Smites, and Fire Smites. Their goal, is to take over Chancel so they can rome free in Dotrillia.

Chancellors are humans who have been gifted with a special power. They can control both fire and ice. However they are not as strong as Smites seeing that they don't focus they abilities on one element.

Their job is to protect their village from the Smites who came to attack. They have strength in their numbers and usually can stop them dead in their tracks. However they have their weaknesses.

There are the normal human weaknesses, but the worst of them all, is control. They have to maintain balance between the fire and ice, otherwise, one will consume them and hatred and power will fuel their actions.

A number of things can cause the unbalance. From a Smite tempting them, to just a simple thought that one might be stronger. Needless to say, it's a day to day battle to remain in control.

This story will tell the tale of a young girl who found herself fighting these very same temptations. And how she is the one meant to drive out the Smites for good. The story of Desta.

This will be the most accurate telling you will hear. Everything will be as it was.
