Chapter 8

Blake's P.O.V.

I feel bad about making her cry, and testing her limits, but after what I saw on the bus this morning with Alyssa, and how she handled her.....I wanted to test her limits.
And my followers did a great job at testing her, however, I did not pay Caleb to kiss her, and for that I'm gonna make him pay.
But first, I have to go find her.

Jessica's P.O.V.

I ran as far away from him as possible, I was gone run to the girls locker room, but no, knowing him he probably wouldn't even care if he walked right on in, and I'm pretty sure the girls in there wouldn't mind either, they'd probably throw themselves at him without a seconds hesitation.
I ran through the halls, and then out the school's front doors, the only sound was thumping of my heart, and the slap as my feet hit the ground.
I ran until I saw a mall, I stopped running and walked to the doors.
As soon as I walked through the doors, I headed straight to hot topic, I bought tons of band bracelets, necklaces, T-shirts, and jeans, this is the only thing that I've ever used my bank card for....well and my phone bill, other than that....nothing.
I love hot topic, it makes me feel at home, sometimes I don't even buy things, I'd look around the store and listen to music, I could do this all day if I wanted to.
My phone buzzed, and I sighed as I grabbed it out of my sweater pocket.

Mom: Hey honey, how is school going?

Jessica: Fine.

Mom: Okay I was just checking in.

Jessica: I know, you're such a worry wort haha.

Mom: Of course I am, if I'm not a worry wort, who's going to be hounding your ass and making sure you're okay?

Jessica: Good point haha.

After I sent that message I waited for a few minutes to see if she was going to say anything else, but she didn't so I put my phone away, and walked home with all the stuff I bought from hot topic.

When I got home I set the bags down by the stairs, and went into the kitchen....only to see Ticci Toby standing there with his axe's out....just kidding, that would probably have been the best thing ever to be honest, Ticci Toby is my favorite proxy, I don't know why, but he sounds chill, and honestly....I like his style, it makes him look cute, in a serial killer kids way.
I smiled to myself as I grabbed an apple from the refrigerator, I was about to take a bite out of it when I heard a knock at my front door.
Sighing I put my apple on the counter, and headed to the front door slowly and quietly.
Without warning I stubbed my toe on the corner of the wall, and fell face first onto the floor.
"For fucks sakes!" I yelled as I cradled my foot.
Whoever was on the other side of the door started laughing uncontrollably, I glared at the door as I rocked back and forth until my foot stopped hurting.
I finly got up off the ground groaning in pain.
I opened the door and saw the little girl that was with Blake just yesterday, the one that ran up to him and gave him a big hug.
I instantly softened, she was so cute, she had on the cute butterfly top, with cute little jean shorts, and her hair was in a French braid, her eyes were a crystal clear blue, with a dash of silver along the edges, she had gorgeous blonde hair.
"Hello, how can I help you?" I asked as I knelt down to her height.
She held out her small hand to me, and I hesitantly took her small hand in mine, "My names Liz, what's yours?" She smiled so beautifully at me that I swear my heart melted a little bit.
"My names Jessica, it is very nice to meet you." I said.
Liz giggled a little bit, "Do you want to hangout at the park?" she asked.
"I can't sadly, I'm very very sorry honey, but I have chores and homework that I have to do before my step dad gets home." I frowned, I know I lied to her, but if I went outside with her then Blake might show up in search of his little sister, and I don't like him, he's a total asshat, I don't know how anyone can put up with his shit, grabs my wrist and squeezing it knowing it hurts me, boy I otta teach him a lesson, but how the hell do you do something like that with a stupid-no-good-dumbassed-little-bitch?
I felt her tug on my sleeve gently.
"Sorry what was that hun?" I asked as I shook my head trying to get out of my thoughts.
"You space out a lot don't you?" Liz giggled.
I smiled and shook my head a bit more, "Yes Liz, I do space out a lot, but hey, great minds do that." I stated.
"Really? Then my big brother Blake has a brilliant mind." I watched as her eyes lit up with excitement.
"He spaces out a lot?" I asked.
"Yea, he hardly pays attention to mommy, she has to yell and scream to get him to listen to her, my mommy scares both of us a lot, sometimes she even has to throw a beer bottle at him to get his attention." Liz laughed. My heart hurt, she thinks its to get his attention...well who can blame her? She's still young and doesn't understand that, her mom is abusing Blake.
That's sad, I think I now know why Blake acts the way he does....ughhhh stop that's no excuse for him to be an asshat to me, a girl he barley even knows.
"Well Liz, I'd better get back to doing my chores, I'll take you to the park on the weekend, is that okay with you?" I asked.
"Yup its okay with me, can my big brother come?" She asked.
I hesitated, "Sure, just tell him if he is coming, there will be no unexpected guests and he'd best be on his best behavior." I then winked at Liz so she would think I was joking around, only Blake will know I'm not.
I watched her turn around and walk across the street to her house, that's when I noticed that there was no one else home but her.
How can her mother let her little one stay home, isn't she supposes to be in school? What the hell????
I grabbed my phone out of my pocket to call Dylan, and then realized it was 5:00pm.
Okay so Blake must be home with her, I relaxed and called Dylan, it rang and rang and rang, no answer.
Sighing I put my phone in my back pocket, grabbed my bags and went upstairs to my room to put all of my stuff away.

A/N- Hai guys, sorry about not updating all that much, I've been busy with my boyfriend and trying to spend as much time with him as I possibly could before he went camping, I won't be seeing him for 5 weeks :'(.
And so a warning, I won't be able to update from August 14th-20th because I will not be home I'll be off camping at a bible camp :/ not looking forward to it, but ehhh whatever I get to learn how to use a gun, which last year I did a great job at, archery was easy it took me 4 hours to master it, still working on riflery though, anyway enough about me.
I'm really Hally about the way this chapter turned out :), and I wanted to thank you guys for the support, it means lits, thanks guys, I'll be updating again real soon.
