I've lost track of the days I've been here. Almost seems never ending. It's the same routine. Over, and over, and over again. I just want to see my family again, but I've been here for so long, why haven't they found me yet. Maybe he was right, that the never even searched for me. I mean, it sounds right and would explain a lot. Or maybe this was my destiny, being trapped. Whatever this is, I just know I want out. And that's what I plan on doing.

Everyday, he goes out exactly when the sun comes up, then comes back after around 20 minutes. This could be my chance, so I'm going to take it. Once that I'm sure he's gone, and that there's no noises. I take the old knife that fell out of his pocket and try to work on getting the chains off. I don't have a lot of strength right now, but I guess I never will.

After what seems like forever, I get one of them undone, and I can get the second one off later. The door's locked, but the window can be broken. The knife won't work very well, so I'll just throw the chair at it. Hopefully it works, otherwise I'm in some deep shit.

The chair is heavier than I thought, but can still manage. As I throw it at the window, glass shards and snow fall though. Where the hell am I? Whatever, I'm still taking my chance. So I crawl out of the window.

"Ah fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck." Wait to go Lilac, just cut yourself while your at it. But, like the true inspiration I am, I persevere and keep going. I take in my surroundings, and apparently I've been living in a normal neighborhood. What the actual fuck is going on. Now, if you're wondering what just happened, I'll elaborate a little bit. For the entire time I've been here, I thought I was in some secluded little creepy country thing. No, I have been hidden in a basement next to a soccer mom that takes her kids to leadership conferences.

So, now that I'm out, I run. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going. Some lady is trying to stop me, and I don't. But soon enough, I pass out. It may be because of the zero exercise I've gotten since I've been here. But black spots are covering my vision, and I go down.

I wake up in a hospital bed. Assuming that this chic brought me to the hospital. Coincidentally, a doctor walks in and goes through the whole, "how are you feeling?" jazz. He keeps talking about random stuff, until one particular thing he says stands out. "Your siblings will be coming to get you, so they'll be here soon."

My. Siblings.

Bruh.

I honestly didn't think they'd remember me. I guess they do, and now I'm going to have to live with them again. Not that I'm at all upset about it, but it's kind of weird to think that I'll be living normally again.

You have no idea how wrong I was about that.

Hey guys, so I just wanted to tell you that I'll be rewriting this book completely. I was a cringy 13 year old and now I'm not, but the plot will be changing a bit. Also, my writing has improved a lot, but if you guys want to leave some constructive criticism on it, that would be appreciated. I'll also be changing the cover sometime soon. Hope you enjoy!!
