Chapter 5- Part 5

"Can I go see Jake?" I ask mum and dad as we run back home after hunting.

"After you see Carlisle and the others, they're all worried about you," dad replies.

"After I see them and they see I'm fine can I go see Jake?"

"Yes," mum says.

"Okay." Alice greets us at the front door and gives me a huge hug.

"How are you feeling?" she asks.

"Nothing is different besides my eyes. Stuck with red eyes for a couple of months."

"As long as you're okay. I think Carlisle wants to see you to make sure you're okay after everything."

"Well I better go see him." I walk past Alice.

"He's upstairs."

"Thanks," I say as I head upstairs.

"Carlisle?" I ask and he comes me to straight away.

"Hello Nessie, how are you feeling?"

Oh my god, I am getting so sick of people asking me that.

"I'm fine, nothing changed besides the fact that I am stuck with red eyes," I say, pointing to my eyes.

"That's okay, they'll change back in a couple of months. Lets go downstairs and I'll do a quick check-up which will most likely be your last depending on what I find out."

"Okay." We head downstairs and go into the room I woke up in. I sit on the bench and he checks for a pulse and does the usual things he does when I have my fort-nightly check-up.

"No pulse, no anything. You have stopped aging so how do you like staying sixteen?"

"Fine. Does that mean I can start school?" I ask.

"We'll have to move somewhere else so no one will recognise any of us but yeah, after we move you can."

"What do you mean, move somewhere else?" I ask.

"Well before you were born we were going to move to Alaska and Edward and Bella were going to go to University there so we might move up there."

"Away from Grandpa?"

"Charlie already knows about this. We said when you stop aging we would move up there because even if the others go to the high school we can say you're a cousin or something because no one would know."

"Oh okay, so we're moving to Alaska?"

"That was the plan."

"Okay, I don't have to worry about that though. So are we done here? I promised I would go visit Jake after I hunted."

"Of course, tell your mum and dad." I hop off the examination table and leave the room. I walk into the living room and see mum and Alice.

'Where's dad?"

"Out back with Emmett and Jasper I think," Alice says.

"Yeah he's outback, why?" mum asks.

"No reason. Mum I'm going to Jake's for a while, okay?"

"Yeah okay."

"Thanks. Bye Alice."

"Bye," she says while waving. Dad walks into the living room.

"I'm going to Jake's for a bit."

"Okay, see you later then."

"Bye," I say as I head to the front door. I close the door behind me and head to Jake's.
