"Can I ask a question now?" My eyes wondered down to Calum who was still laid on my lap.

Michael fell asleep about five minutes ago and Ashton hasn't come back yet.

"Go ahead."

"Who's Ariyah?" The thought has been in my head ever since Arzaylea planted it there.

Calum sat up. His back was facing me, his head hung low. It looked like his head was in his hands.

"She's um," he paused, "my ex. She used to be my everything. We were high school sweethearts I guess you could say."

He finally turned around so I could see his face. His expression showed that she had hurt him. It seemed to almost trouble him just to even talk about her.

"Funny thing is she actually left me for Luke, which was before I knew him or Ashton. It used to be just Michael, our two friends Shay and Niall, Ariyah and myself. She left for months without speaking to me. Then one night he hit her causing her to crawl back to me." He was trying hard not to cry.

"A while after her return, her and Shay auditioned for the show Pretty Little Liars. They both got lead roles which resulted in them having to move to LA. They left, Niall was on the X-Factor, so it was just Mikey and I. Then he introduced me to Luke. The three of us began making covers on YouTube. Our first real gig came up and we needed a drummer so Micael contacted Ash, the rest is history from there.
Our whole old friend group found fame. The fame is what tore the two of us apart. She got caught up in while I was still caught up in her. I was wrapped around her finger for the longest time. But day by day it all fell apart. She cheated, lied, just plain broke me." And that's when the tears fell.

My first reaction was to wrap him in a hug. His arms immediately went around me as he cried on my shoulder. She must have really hurt him. Seeing him like this hurts me. He's so sweet, he doesn't deserve that kind of pain, or any pain for that matter.

"Promise me you won't do the same?" He questioned pulling away to look into my eyes.

"What?" I was completely confused.

"Don't hurt and leave me like she did."

"Never." He pulled me back in for another hug. "I promise, Cal."

Ashton barged into the room still in his flustered state. He woke up Michael, whispered something to him, they both nodded, then left together.

"That was weird." I wonder where they're going.

"Come on, let's follow them!" Calum jumped off the bed pulling me with him.

We ran out of the room and saw them taking a left down the hallway. Still hand in hand we ran to keep them in our vision. We peered around the corner seeing them waiting for the elevator so they could go down. There was a staircase directly across from us so we quietly snuck to it without them noticing us.

"Faster, Cal!" I whispered yelled as he ran ahead of me down the stairs.

He began laughing. I had no clue as to why he would be laughing while we are running to get down three flights of stairs right now. Then it clicked. He took what I said in a dirty manor.

"Oh screw off!" I shot at him while we continued down the stairs.

Finally reaching the bottom, we saw the elevator doors opening. Michael and Ashton stepped out then proceeded to the lobby. Slowly and quietly we followed after. They took a right down a hallway connected to the lobby.

Calum turned around giving me a confused look. I shrugged my shoulders. He turned back around and we followed, watching them intently. They walked into a room and closed the door.

"Where the fuck are they going? What is that room?" I asked Calum as we walked towards the room.

"I have no clue."

The door to this room wasn't like any other doors. This room was some type of conference room as if some fancy people came here and needed to have a meeting, this is the room they would gather. A little glass window was in the door giving perfect viewing access to the inside.

"Should we look?" Calum turned to me.

Without responding I slowly peeked my head over to the door. Inside I could see Mikey, Ash, and Luke sat in a chair in front of the two. Faint voices could be heard as Ashton was clearly yelling at Luke.

"What the fuck were you thinking?!"

"This could ruin everything for us!"

"If the press hears about this its all they are going to talk about Luke!"

"Fuck Luke! How could you of been so careless?"

I could only hear Ashton saying all that because he was yelling. Michael said a few things but it wasn't loud enough for me to hear. Luke on the other hand said nothing but instead just sat there looking out of it.

Luke didn't look good at all. He looked like he had seen a ghost. It seemed like he wasn't even paying attention to Ashton or Michael at all. He seemed kind of dazed? Whatever he did though it had to be bad.

"Do you know how bad that stuff is for you Lucas?" Ashton continued on.

What stuff?

"You could get addicted to that shit! Or hell to much of it could've killed you!"

"Look how red your eyes are! We need to get you to bed, come on mate."

Ashton was finally done yelling but now they're helping Luke up. Immediately I moved my head so they could not see me or vise versa.

"We have to go Calum."

"Why? What's going on in there?"

"I'll explain when we get back to the room, but right now we need to go."

"Mady, why do we need to go?"

"Stop being so stubborn and let's g-" Through the window I could see Michael which meant they were about to open the door. "Now!"

I took off running with Calum behind me. Right after we made it into the lobby I heard their voices meaning they were in the hallway. There's no way we would be able to make it to the stairs before they reached the lobby as well.

"We need to get by the elevator casually and follow my lead!" He nodded his head and we made our way to the elevator.

I had pressed the up button right before the sight of the three boys came into view. Immediately our heads turned to look at the elevator like we hadn't even seen them. Their foot steps could be heard coming closer.

"Cal? Mady?" Michael questioned from behind us.

"Oh! There you guys are." I played as if I had no clue where they had been.

"What're you two doing down here?" Ashton looked at the two of us suspiciously. Good thing I'm an amazing liar when I need to be.

"Well Cal and I went to get a snack shortly after you two left, but on our way to the vending machine realized neither of us had the key! We didn't know where you guys had ran off to so we decided we needed to come get one from the front desk." As if on cue Calum pulled our room key out of his pocket and the elevator doors dinged open.

Ashton nodded his head, completely believing us, and we all got on the elevator. My eyes flickered over to a very out of it Luke. He was staring at the lights in the elevator in awe like they were the most amazing things he'd ever seen before.

There was one thing I couldn't help but notice as I stared at my brother. His eyes were red and glazed over.
