"5 6 7 8 and pose!" Tyler shouted. "That was fabulous Carla! Ella you're up."
I swallowed the lump in my throat and stepped forward.
"Head up sweetheart, I want to see that gorgeous smile!"
I slowly lifted my head up and attempted to smile.
"That's it honey! You're a natural!" He gushed.
I reached the end of the catwalk and was instructed by Tyler to pose. I placed my right hand on my hip and turned slightly to the left and did the same on the other side.
"Perfect darling! Just fabulous!"
I couldn't help but smile as I strutted back to the rest of girls.
Lucy smiled at me before gracing the catwalk herself. I slowly walked down the steps to the floor, careful not to fall over. Once I was at the bottom I immediately kicked my shoes off and Finn gave me a sweet hug.
"You were absolutely amazing." he smiled genuinely. I struggled to hide my blush. By now it was around 11 o'clock and I was starving.
"Once your friend has finished would you both like to accompany myself and Tyler to brunch at a cafe down the road?"
"Yeah sure! That's sounds great." I smiled.
Once everyone started packing up Lucy and I gathered our things and waited with Finn for Tyler to finish chatting with a couple of models.
"Ok honeys, lets eat!" Tyler exclaimed wrapping his arms around Lucy and I's shoulders.
--------------------------------------
I was practically drooling when my plate of bacon and scrabbled egg on toast was presented in front of me. We began to tuck in and chatter in between mouthfuls.
"So Ella, who knew you were so gifted when it came to pouting and wiggling your hips about." Tyler winked. I responded by looking down and blushing. I saw Finn giggling at me out the corner of my eye.
"I completely agree, who knew eh." Lucy grinned.
"Don't be silly, as long as I don't fall flat on my face I don't care how good or bad I am." I said modestly.
"You won't be saying that when you're modelling for Alexander McQueen and your face is gracing the cover of Vogue magazine." Tyler said. I laughed at him but I couldn't help imagining it.
Once we had finished the greasy, yet delicious brunch we walked through a few shops together. Lucy and Tyler had a fit every time they found a designer piece on sale and the two of them gave Finn and I style advice and helped us pick out some clothes.
Finn drove us back to our flat in the late afternoon and he and Tyler insisted on walking us to our flat.
"Well thank you for a fabulous day girlies!" Tyler screamed engulfing the four of us into a group hug.
"We have to do it again soon!" Lucy added.
"Well we best be off Finny boy!" Tyler said ruffling Finn's hair whilst he laughed uncomfortably.
"Practice those catwalks girls!" Tyler said waving sassily and strutting towards the lift. Lucy and I laughed and Finn gave me a smile and a wave before following him. Lucy and I shook our heads at each other tutting.
"Tyler really is a handful." Lucy laughed whilst unlocking the door.
"Agreed." I giggled, placing my bags of shopping onto the kitchen bench.
"I'm really glad you're doing the fashion show." Lucy said genuinely.
"Me too." I grinned as she engulfed me into a hug.
