Watership Down is one of my all-time favorite books; it follows a band of warren-less rabbits (called "hlessil" in Lapine, rabbits' native language) in an attempt to escape their doomed burrow. After reading this book, I developed an obsession with rabbits and anything to do with "WSD", the loving acronym that this book has been dubbed by all its followers.
During my quest for knowlege and fanfics, I came across a website entitled "Fiver's Honeycomb: A Watership Down Forum". My interest being immediately spurred, I clicked on the link and made an account. In my excitement, I began a role-play with a user called Chipster-roo, and we invented the story which you are about to read. I have changed things a bit, but the plot line remains the same.
It begins in a meadow not too far away from Watership Down, where a young female rabbit meets her first friend...
