Annie's pov:

"Who are you?" I manage to choke out at the mystery man.
"Call me Jhon," he snaps back. Not long after he throws my into another dark room. At least this one has a window.

I silently wait for him to leave before I check out my surroundings. Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn only to find Sydney.

Sydney?

I hug her knowing that I'm not alone and that now thee may be a ray of hope for me to get out of this place. "What are you doing here?" I whisper trying not to cry.
"I wish I knew. I'm so glad to not be alone anymore." She says while hugging me back.

"He threw some other girl in here a while ago, but it's been too dark and she's unconscious so I haven't bothered. I was going to wait until daylight so I could see." She says.
