I continued stuffing clothes into my bag and ignored my yapping mother.
"Look, I said what I had to say. I'm going. That's that."
"You've always had this problem. Always immature. Thinking the world revolves around you! You cant just pack up and move away from all the people who love you without a sensible reason!"
"Yes. I can. And I do have a reason. It's because I'm sick of people like you."
I stared at her fumbling to find a comeback until she threw her hands up and stormed out muttering under her breath.
I collapsed on the bed, face down.
I had reason enough to go where I was going. But how could I even attempt to explain to anyone the real reason without them thinking I had finally gone completely mad?
