Chapter 1

I am here. I stand at the middle of La Rambla, probably the most famous street in Barcelona. Visiting Barcelona is what I wished and dreamed of for 10 years. Here I am now. I finished high school, I celebrated my 18th birthday with family and friends, well-deserved celebration passed before...who knows when i'll see them again. 24 hours later, 2421 kilometers away from home,I already entered the start of my new life. I came here in order fulfilling my two greatest dreams-life in Barcelona and studies at The University of Barcelona,studies in law. I was among the first students admitted to the faculty. Oh God, something in my heart just strikes me when I think how stressful and tense was the waiting for that news. As always, I expect a negative result, it never happened to appear some optimism in me and nothing was changed this time. However, here I am now. Here but all alone. Without relatives, without someone I know. That is why I say that I am beginning a new life. An entirely new life. My task today remains well manage between the streets of Barcelona, ​​without wandering and getting lost in the first hour here and successfully finding the student dormitory where I will stay. I've never loved adventure or doing something exciting,i'm not that type of girl at all. But this looks like one. I would not agree in another situation, but it is my dream that we are talking about,so I accepted all conditions. I grabbed the chance, once I had her before my hands. It's okay Sophia,stop looking around like a madman, I said to myself. I was often in that situation. I started to walk towards the student dormitory, in the hope of success.
